Snowman's Story

I ordered this book for a child. First, when I look at a book, I ask myself would I have liked this book when I was a child. Since I love snowmen and snowwomen, and I liked the illustrations, I decided to order this book. I am sure the child I bought it for liked the book.

Beautiful pictures, but I returned this book because I didn’t read the description well enough that says there are no words. I wish they would bring back the option to “look inside” with books because it is really hard to order new books online sometimes without being able to open them. My fault for it fully reading the description but still a bummer. And also the description is a little deceiving because it talks about the “story” but there isn’t a story. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love that this story doesn't have words. The pictures are beautifully illustrated and have a lot of emotions and movement to tell the story. This makes for an interactive story experience as you talk about what is happening as the characters set out to get their book back from the mischevious rabbit. Grab a stack of sticky notes and have your child write their own story (or dictate to you) to read again and again. Great for working on vocabulary, sentence formulation, and inferencing. Love this in the classroom or at home.

Very cute book...no words, only illustrations.

This is a beautiful but with really nice pictures, but as an FYI there are no words. So its not a reading book but rather a picture but that you can make up your own story as you turn the pages. Its cute and again the pictures are nice.

Wonderful pictures to tell a story without words. My grandson and I "read" it together telling each other what we thought was happening, and then did it again because he was so delighted with it. It's a great way to bring home to little kids the importance of pictures in a book and how they can tell the story. It is important for children as they begin to read to understand what is happening before they attack the printed text, and this book teaches them to look for clues in the pictures, something that good readers do. In addition, it is simply a delightful book!

Have bought this for my granddaughters and look forward to getting them to put their own language to the lovely pictures.Lovely Christmas story.

This book is suitable for children of every age, who have the spirit of imagination. With no text it allows the reader to find a story to accompany the beautiful illustrations. A must for Christmas.

You have to make up the story yourself as there are no print. Illustrated well.

For the sheer enjoyment of bedtime storytelling, but also a great catalyst for discussion on a lot of levels
