I also love the dynamics between the cops - Carl Morck with his deadpan ironic sense of humour and Assad with his affectionate nature; his wow deductive skills and his deadly instincts. It's really he who gives Morck the impetus to keep going on, when he flounders. This is my fourth Adler book and he's turned into one of my favourite writers. You should also read 'Alphabet House'.
