Great design and quality.
All works as advertised. Drain catches most bits and seals well when closed. Bowl takes dinner plates well and uses less water than filling the sink. Softer than hard ceramic on crockery. Basket on back fits washing up liquid and sponges so they can drain away at their leisure. Fits the sink like a glove. Check Q&As for sizes as base is narrower than top to accommodate sloping sinks. Can't comment on long term cleaning. Perfect match with Joseph Joseph drainer. Love it. I'm a happy saddo.

Quite simply the best washing up bowl I have ever had!
I have been looking at Joseph Joseph products for some time and was a little disappointed with an item of theirs I had previously. There is no doubt about it that their products are not the cheapest around and I don't normally like to 'buy cheap, buy twice'. However, I have bought many cheap washing up bowls over the years, and thought it was time to 'invest' in a better quality of product. I have not regretted my purchase of this and a Joseph Joseph extending drainer!I am using less hot water (except when i forget to tighten the plug! Ha ha) and love how it fits in my sink. I have the handles at the front and back, with my tools out of the way at the back of the sink. And as for the drainer... items dry quickly due to the increased airflow under them, the changeable size is an absolute bonus, keeping the work top neat, and there's no more sitting water as a result of the drain! I love gadgets in my kitchen and never thought that i could be so pleased with such utilitarian items, but i can thoroughly recommend both of these items.

Convenience and innovation at its best
It got delivered m, I immediately put it to use and instantly fell in love; convenience and innovation at its best.A word of warning though; if you don’t have taps/faucets that can be swivelled out of the way, the removing this bowl from your sink when it’s full of water and dishes etc is going to be very difficult and annoying but that’s true for removing any bowl from a sink with rigid taps. The handles make it nice and easy to lift, the storage area for washing products is a nice convenient feature but the highlight, the real joy, is the combination drain plug and sieve at the bottom of the bowl (which, by the way, drains the water rapidly (rather than trickling out slowly as I was worried it might do)).I love it.Too early to comment on its durability as I have had it for just over half a day, but in terms of its features I am in love.

Best Washing Up Bowl Ever!
I never thought I would get excited over a washing up bowl but this one will do it- great design- love the fact it has a drainer like the sink- the end pocket is great for storing washing up liquid and sponge- it has slight legs so doesn't sit on the sink floor, hence not getting grubby like washing up bowls do at the bottom- great design and looks really good- great quality- will never go back to a cheap plastic washing up bowl again now! :)

Useful, But Not Quite Perfect
A great concept and the plug alone is a such an obvious but useful addition to a washing-up bowl.My only gripe, and why I didn't give it five-stars, is the proportions - it would have been much more practical if the washing bowl was slightly larger, and the storage area smaller. It's also quite expensive for a washing-up bowl.

A washing bowl as a talking point? OH YES!
I never thought I’d find myself in the position to be voluntarily writing a review for a washing-up bowl, but here we are! I’m doing so because it’s brilliant! The plug in the base is ingenious and I like how the bowl is raised off the base of the sink with its inbuilt feet. It’s pretty easy to clean. Wish the drainer was a little bit deeper (it’s not as deep as the main bowl). Because it’s not so deep, my dish brush falls over, so I only keep my sponges in the storage bit and have another little pot on the side of my sink. It’s a minor point on an otherwise brilliant design.

Very impressed
Let's face it, it's a lot to pay for a washing up bowl. But .... It's worth it. The functionality is great, the size of the main compartment is better than it looks, the draining plug is very useful, and the whole thing is very sturdy so you're confident lifting it if it's got water in. The drainers on the end are brilliant. Does away for the need for a separate cutlery drainer

Very sturdy and compact
Perfect fit in sink, Looks great, just what I wanted to tidy my sink area and have what I need to hand. The twist plug makes emptying bowl easy and it the bowl is easy to clean. Expensive but worth every penny. Make sure you measure your sink before ordering.
