I bought this for my 8 year old daughter because she thought it would be really fun to use. It comes out of the water only semi-dry, the water beads up but stays in the sand so it's actually still wet. So in order to put it away completely dry for storage, you have to lay it out in a thin layer (like on a baking sheet). This makes using the product not quite as fun as it should be because clean-up is not only messy (the sand gets everywhere), it takes long because you have to wait for the sand to dry. She played with it once and it's been sitting on the shelf in her bedroom ever since. So, unless you have a place in your home setup for sand play, be sure to set aside plenty of time for clean-up.

I have a 8 year old and a 4 year old (girls). They have always been intrestied with new playing toys but get easly bored, tried the slime, magic sand everything lasts only for few hours after which they get bored. I bought this product and its really cool how it goes into water and doesnt get wet, they are able to make shapes and things in the water and then after they are done, they are able to put it back int he plastic cover.ITs really entertaining and also not boring. Onyl suggestion is if they provide something along with the procut to take the sand out of water it would be little mess free.

This sand is amazing. I wish I could figure out the secret ! The kids loved it and were just as fascinated as I was. It definitely makes a great gift and I guarantee the receiver is going to love it ! It get played with daily in my house.

This sand is a fun toy for kids. Watching it dry back to its original state was cool!
