The pros: it is very lightweight, has a hole on the pad and pen to tie a string onto so the pen does not get lost, and it does save trees.The cons: This pad is made of very cheap plastic. One of the concerns I would have giving this to a young child is the warnings on the box says: "In case of products damaged or liquid leaked, please place the product in a sealed bag and put it in the non-recyclable trash can, please wash your hands clearly if leaked liquid touched by the skin." Since this is made of cheap plastic, in my opinion it would be very likely that an unsupervised child playing with this has a big potential of cracking it and the child and furniture etc. being exposed to the chemical. There is a teeny tiny screw that has to be removed to replace the battery of which you would have to have a special screwdriver as well as the battery would be a watch type battery which are not cheap and although the battery is suppose to last two years, if it lasted that long, it wouldnt be worth the money to replace with the cheap quality of the pad. The color that appears on the display is very light. If you were to make a list as an adult on this pad, there is not way to delete a portion of any thing you write on it. I guess you could simply make a check mark when you took care of that part of your list. The pen is not condusive for a smaller child's hands.I received this product free for an honest review.

This is a total waist of effort, money, just not sure how people can leave so many great reviews?! First off you have to push hard for it to write, then after 3 times pressing delete, it no longer deleted anything, so if u need it for one time use them go for it.Then consider this, returns are only at UPS, no Kohls drop off available, make sure u have it already wrapped or you'll spend more money at the store to have it packaged and labeled.Just spend your money elsewhere... so disappointing...

I bought this primarily for my kids to use since they love to doodle and I wanted to reduce some of the paper laying around the house. They love this tablet and it kept them occupied for hours. It’s easy to use and erasing is simple and fun for the kids. It’s thin and lightweight so it will be no problem for me to take it along in my purse when we’re out and about.

This is a product similiar to many out there. It worked great for two months, now the screen will not shut off. You can still write new stuff on it, but you can not erase anything, making it basically useless. It was fun while it lasted. I bought another brand of this type of thing, still going strong.

It looks great and will be great for my little nephews to write on but parents beware u need a tiny tiny screwdriver to open to put the batteries and still i have to figure that out.

Like: very light, easy to carry everywhere, also entertaining for the little one, it keeps her occupied for awhile.Dislike: color contrast, the color is green and the lcd is black, it's not the brightest, so if you dont push the pen, the line will be very very faint

This product has worked so well for our son. It light weight and easy to put in his activity bag. It's so easy for him to use and enjoy. We would recommend it for everyone. Love this product.
