Never had a problem with Trust kit before so when I saw this webcam I thought I'd give it a try. Bought it so my son could get into stop-motion animation, downloaded some simple free software from the web, plugged in the camera and worked straight away, no need to load drivers as it is supported by plug-n-play in Windows 7. The camera has a light on it (provided by 6 LED's) that can be varied brightness or off. The output light level is good and will easily light up a face in a darkened room. There is a nice long cable so USB ports on the back of your PC can be used, it also has a button on top for single shot capture (if your software supports it). A 'clip' is also provided to fix the camera to the top of a monitor. Has a good 'tilt' range (swivels up and down) and focus can be changed by rotating the lens (good range also) Picture quality is great, no complaints here. Great product, good price.

I have had this camera for over 6 months. And use it regularly with Skype. I run it on windows 7 64 bit and it works fine. Although the drivers are on the net. I loaded the drivers that came on the cd as it also included utilities. The camera is very small and light. I did not give it five stars as the stand and cable lets it down. For most video usage the camera wants to be at eye level so it ends up being placed on the monitor. If like me you have a slim LCD one then the stand can hook over and provide adequate but not secure retention. If you want to rest iton a surface, then because of its lightness it will probably move easily when knocked. The cable is long but not really to go from the top of a monitor to a pc case that's on the floor. (ok for laptop). I had a USB hub which sits on the desk and bridges the distance to the pc case. The camera works well in low light and vastly superior to the low cost cameras one sees and even a well known brand. It has an led light, which appears to be weak. My phone led is brighter. But as I have not had need to use it then it's not an issue for me. For skyping it is great , with it's built in microphone, video messaging is very simple. I now have 2 trust cameras, the HD and the widescreen. For what I use it for they don't appear to have different performances. So review is applicable to both.

The picture quality could be better and the sound quality also but apart from that the ease of setup is easy and the functionality does what it says apart from lack in quality of picture and sound and the brightness could also be better. The quality of the actual product is alright plastic for the price.

The quality is worse than my pc webcam. I bought this to have a better picture not worse. This is rubbish and I am trying to return it but the seller is not helpful. Recommend not to waste your money on this. It is just terrible

Video quality is as expected for £5 but build quality and adjustment etc is great. Also has some basic lighting. Works as expected in my dark 3d printer. Terrible quality video but provides enough light itself to see what's happening. £5 well spent.

En la descripción de este artículo se afirma que no necesita instalar ningún hadware, o sea, que con solo conectar ya funciona. Tengo que decir que no, que no funciona. La imagen sí aparece pero el micrófono no funciona. Voy a tener que devolverlo! ¿Alguien ha tenido este mismo problema? ¿Pudo resolverlo de alguna manera, configurando el audio del Pc o algo por el estilo?

Niet zoals beschreven. De resolutie is veel lager dan beschreven. 640x480 ipv 1020p. Heel erg vervelend dit.

Una webcam che è molto più di una webcam. Qualità video full hd con risoluzione fino a 1920x1080. Perfetta per le videoconferenze skype grazie anche al supporto del microfono integrato che la rendono molto comoda. Un accessorio esteticamente molto fine e complementare per ogni buon pc che non sia dotato di una webcam, o che abbia già una webcam integrata dalle scarse potenzialità. Questa webcam è dotata di un flash molto potente che difficilmente vi troverete costretti ad usare in quanto già con l'illuminazione normale le immagini risultano nitide e perfette. Molto utile per chi esegue streeming su yuotube è il software che viene fornito insieme alla webcam che permette riprese in vari formati e a varie risoluzioni con strumenti utili per l'editing on air. L'installazione risulta facile e veloce in quanto ci si trova di fronte ad una periferica usb plug & play che viene subito riconosciuta da tutti i sistemi operativi (win, mac os, linux). Per 23€, prezzo affare in sconto da Amazon è davvero un affarone. Consigliatissima.

Ich bin Mac User, als ich die Kamera kaufte, war ich mir nicht ganz sicher ob sie auch auf meiner alten Version von OS funktionieren würde; ganz zu schweigen von der Bildqualität bei dem Preis. Doch ich wurde positiv überrascht: ohne Treiber Installieren zu müssen wurde die Kamera sofort von den üblichen Programmen wie Skype und MSN erkannt und funktioniert wunderbar. Selbst die Bildqualität ist gut (durch das "Super Weitwinkel" Objektiv enstehten leichte Verzerrungen an den Rändern), und für eine Webcam zum normalen Hausgebrauch mehr als ausrechend. Die seitlich angebrachten LEDs hab ich zuerst belächelt, doch tatsächlich: sie sorgen dafür dass selbst bei miserabelsten Lichtverhältnissen das Bild gut ausgeleuchtet ist. Ein kleines Problem hat die Kamera allerdings; dadurch dass sie sehr leicht ist, zieht das, durch den Dimmer für die LEDs schwere Kabel, ziemlich an der Kamera so dass es ein bisschen Geschick braucht um die Kamera so aufzustellen, dass sie nicht nach hinten kippt oder gar vom Tisch gezogen wird. Doch nach ein paar Sekunden rumspielen am Kabel war auch dieses Problem gelöst. Fazit: Gute Webcam für den Otto-normal-Chatter, für einen wirklich guten Preis! Funktioniert selbst noch auf alten MAC OS Systemen ohne Probleme. Ich würde sie wieder kaufen.
