GatesK060950 Micro-V Serpentine Drive Belt

Old belt was squealing pretty bad. Got this one, and truck is running normal again.

Perfect fit for my 96 Jeep Cherokee Country 4.0L. with A/C. The belt did squeal a little when starting. Tighten the belt until I could only twist 90 degree at tension point and now it's quiet. Couldn't be more happy with this belt.

I installed this today on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport with out any issues. The belt went on without a problem, runs fine, and eliminated a lot of annoying noises I was having. I also installed the Gates Tensioner for the 4.0l Jeep Inline six here on Amazon (I would recommend this since you're going to have the belt off anyway). Quality belt that beats most prices around. Get this over the cheap ones, A broken belt can leave you stranded.

Perfect, dont over tighten or there will be too much side pressure on all the pulleys,this can ruin the water pump bearing,, Tighten and run engine to see if belt squeals, especially during rain / humid weather, then tighten a but more until it no longer squeals, done,

Just what i needed for my jeep Cherokee and about the best price around, i bought more expensive ones that just chirped and this one is quiet.

I get a whole lot more miles out of gates belts then any other 186k miles and still going strong. Lol love it
