Arrowroot Powder, 1 lb. (3 Pack)

This arrowroot powder was perfect for today's sugar-free vegetarian, high-protein snack baking experiment, and the price is very good too. This product was great to make my gluten-free paleo thin mint brownie bars fluffier. I uses raw cacao powder from Amazon (I used this Healthworks Cacao Powder Raw Organic, 1lb), and also super fine ground blanched almond meal (5LB Almond Flour Blanched, Extra Fine Ground Almond Meal - Oh! Nuts (5 LB Bag Blanched Almond Flour)) instead of flour, and a truly wonderful almond butter--also from Amazon--with no sugar added or other ingredients (Zinke Orchards Crunchy Almond Butter (3 Pack) 16oz Jars) and a few eggs and some walnut milk (ground up some raw walnuts with water to make fresh). Tossed in some raw cacao nibs Healthworks Cacao Nibs Raw Organic, 1lb, and a few crushed almonds and some powdered stevia with food grade peppermint oil. Next time will add more stevia, and maybe make a sugar-free choccie frosting, yet otherwise these high protein, gluten-free thin mint brownies came out great. Happy gluten-free baking~*

I purchased this powder to make my own cosmetics and personal care items as I am disgusted with the amount of toxic substances that are allowed to go into the cosmetics on the market and then how they flaunt their Susan G. Komen sponsorships when their products contain the known carcinogens that cause cancer in the first place!

I am an essential oil user and I was researching something that could help my husbands athletes foot issue. he is in construction and has used everything from over the counter sprays, creams, and powder, to prescribed medication up to steroids. My recipe called for arrowroot powder (you know you can eat this too!). His feel improved after three days! It's been a couple weeks and he's never looked and felt better. He wants to continue to use every day, I am trying to convince him its ok to stop it (haha).I am so thankful for this product!

I used this to make deodorant last night and it was a great ingredient. Very smooth and silky soft. I wish I'd been using it in my previous batches in instead of just corn starch. Now that I've conquered the world of deodorant, I think I might try and move on to some easy cosmetics. I'll be using this powder for those too and I'll try and remember to come back and update the review.Amazon had better prices that the store that starts with a "V" and has the word "cost" in it, as well as selection. After reading the reviews, Barry Farm sounded like and proved to be the best choice.

To me using Arrowroot is a great alternative to corn starch. Besides, my mother used it and she was a smart woman.

Great! This was my first time ordering and using arrowroot powder as I wanted to add a natural deodorant to the products I sell. This worked perfectly so far! My pits have been dry and odorless all day so far. My only wish is that this came in a re-sealable package as once it's open there is no way of closing it. Can end up losing product.

I finally took the time to read what was in my deodorant. Yuck! After looking at a ton of reviews and products and recipes, I found one with only the most basic ingredients in it. I will say...It works great. This arrowroot powder is inexpensive and from what I can tell, of very high quality. Everyone in my household uses my deodorant now and I will be looking to buy more bulk ingredients soon. This does last a long time. I just like to have some inventory for the 'unknowns' life throws at you. Great product!

Loved the bulk purchase of this instead of the smaller amount I purchase at a time from the grocery store. Only difference is that the store bought arrowroot is that it is in a more convienent container. It's a sealable plastic bottle with an open top, similar to a parmesaun cheese bottle. No worries though as I just save the bottle and refil it from there.Works well in a lot of my homemade DIY organic recipes. Will purchase again.
