When I opened the box, no instructions, no big deal if you've some common sense however, would be handy for the remote, so looked again at the light on Amazon in case there was instillation guidance, nothing so I read the reviews which were ok, people kinda found the same, one thing other people highlighted was the HUM, one guy solved it by putting rubber washers under the screws of the LED strips to solve this, I used double sided tape which is like a cushon on the LED's perfect, (left the screws off) absolutely no sound what-so-ever, so, yes I'm happy, it is a good light for my kitchen, super bright and dimmable with the remote, looks great and glad I kept it.

Update: after 13 months it no longer works at all. Update: After 7months the warm light suddenly stopped working and also it does not get as bright as it used to. Contacted seller through Amazon (got an email saying it cannot be delivered.however they monitor the Amazon messages). Offered £8 refund, when I refused I was offered £6!! I need the full range of lighting options...that’s why I bought it. Other buyers are stating the same problems and issues with seller. I now require to find another product (not from this company)!! This is the reason for a lack of paperwork...I’m not convinced that they have an authorised CE mark required by all electrical equipment sold in the EU (Hopefully I’m wrong on that). I informed the seller of EU consumer law which states all products must have a 2 year guarantee and therefore I am entitled to replacement or full refund. No reply. I will be informing Amazon that this company does not honour EU laws. previous review....Very easy to install. The metal base is quite thin so is flexible. Also the plastic cover is also very pliable. I was worried it would show marks where it bent inwards but all was ok. The white light can be set to very bright. You can also set it to warmer yellow etc. so finding your ideal comfort level isn't difficult. I also like the night/evening button on the remote which allows one push low light setting. The lack of instructions for the remote is a minor nuisance...but just press the buttons and explore what they do.

On arrival of the item, I looked at it and thought is this actually going to be bright enough, but after installing it, it has surprised me. This made in China item has actually surprised me, its bright, it has colour options, dimming etc... It looks good too, The down side is that the frequency of the light, other household remotes might interfere with the light itself occasionally. The unit comes without any fitting instructions or user instructions, however if you have common sense its not hard install and use at all. One of the down side is that the light can attract insects if you have your window open at night and somehow the insects can get inside the unit, but its easy to clean. Overall its still a very good piece of kit for the price.

The remote control is a bit odd, but I usually end up getting what I want. The warm and bright lights are excellent, not so keen on the daylight light and the night light is a bit depressing, but serves its purpose. I do tend to get interference on the radio from time to time and its only when the bright light is in use, not the warm - so again a bit odd, but all in all the light is excellent value and I am really pleased with my purchase.

Failed after less than 6 months use. Product not fit for purpose. Light was reasonably easy to fit, the remote was always faulty and would work occasionally. Did look good for the short time it did work. Do not go near this company !

I fitted this in a bedroom (which might be a room this light is not suitable for) because I liked the remote control idea and the nightlight feature where it can be dimmed before sleep. The first thing to say is there were no instructions with it so I have no idea what most of the buttons do on the remote which is very frustrating. The advertising says it will remember the light level when you turned it off which it does, but only in remote mode. The big problem with this is you cannot fully turn the light off. It will only dim down to a faint night light mode; fine if you want a room lit by a faint glow all night otherwise you have to turn it off on the wall defeating the remote control idea. The fitting of the light is straight forward with 4 screws and rawl plugs and the light cover clips on and off beautifully and easily for access or cleaning. When I first turned it on there was a definite hum from the unit audible to me during the day which would have been impossible to live with at night. The LEDs are built into 2 metal strips which have 12 screws holding them against the metal case which then attaches to the ceiling. The humming was coming from these metal parts faintly vibrating against each other when the electricity was passing through. I thought of returning it but instead, due to the hassle I put 12 small rubber washers between the LED strips and the case which damped the vibration and stopped the hum. Apart from the fitting hassle and remote control issue the light (72W version) is super bright and dims down in stages to a very low level if required. It also has 3 types of light (Warm white, Blueish and Daylight mode).This is a good light that could be excellent for want of a slight design issue sorted with a few more pence spending on the construction. I also have two more lights to purchase but will now look for another light. If I ever manage to work out the remote I will be happier with this one.

Purchased many of these types of ceiling lights, this is by far the best, my first test is light quality. I have tested this light on various shutter speeds and it does not show any light flicker unlike others. 64W is a good amount for an average/large bedroom. If you want lots of light to reduce screen glare. The remote has good options easily switching between cold/warm/natural lights, A quick button also to dim the light.

Diese Lampe ist für meine Bedürfnisse perfekt! Sie ist dimmbar, was mir sehr wichtig war. Mit 3000 Lumen bringt sie das Zimmer zum leuchten. Und abends kann man das Licht stufenweise (ich glaube, es sind so 5 Stufen) runterdrehen sowie die Wärme (Kelvin) ändern, sodass der Raum in einem gemütlicheren warmen Licht erstrahlt. Da diese Lampe nicht teurer ist, als eine, wo man die Lichttemperatur nicht ändern kann, habe ich mich natürlich für diese entschieden. Perfekt zum Fernsehen bietet die Lampe auch einen Nachtmodus mit nur sehr schwachem Licht an. Zur Lebensdauer kann ich leider noch nichts sagen, da sie noch relativ neu ist. Interessant ist auch, dass man ein paar Lichtmodi auch über den Lichtschalter steuern kann: schaltet man den Lichtschalter ein und aus, ändert sich die Temperatur automatisch! Leider lässt sich die Lampe nicht mit der Fernbedienung einschalten, wenn man sie mit dem Schalter ausschaltet. Ganz ausschalten kann man die LEDs nicht mit der Fernbedienung, was zwar nicht auffällt, wenn der Lampenschirm drauf ist. Beim Abnehmen sieht man die LED Spirale schon noch leicht leuchten. Dennoch bin ich sehr zufrieden mit meiner Lampe, da sie einen sehr modernen Eindruck macht, v.a. wegen der Funktionen, und daher gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung!!

ich habe die Lampe gerade mal ziemlich exakt 5 Monate und gestern Abend machte es "peng" und das Teil ist kaputt :(. Anscheinend macht es auch keinen Sinn sich mit dem Verkäufer in Verbindung zu setzen - siehe letzten Kommentare.

Ho acquistato 2 plafoniere per il salone, versione 72W con variazione temperatura (3000-6000K). Arrivate senza nessuna istruzione circa le funzioni del telecomando, malgrado ciò se ne intuisce il funzionamento abbastanza facilmente. E' una versione unica di comando per tutti i modelli, infatti i 4 tasti in basso servono per la variante RGB. Una cosa rilevante è che al contrario di altre plafoniere simili che possiedo, questo telecomando (e ricevitore di conseguenza) è di tipo a infrarossi anziché a radiofrequenza 2.4GHZ. Sembra un dettaglio ma con i dispositivi RF, le due plafoniere in salone si commutavano in perfetta sincronia, addirittura stando in un'altra stanza. Con queste invece si deve puntare abbastanza bene la singola plafoniera da comandare anche se tecnicamente un telecomando può controllare simultaneamete due o più plafoniere, magari molto vicine. Oltre alla variazione di temperatura e intensità, abbiamo un tasto per impostare direttamente la luminosità minima (comunque discreta in questa versione 72W), e un altro tasto per ciclare alla massima luminosità luce calda, luce naturale e luce fredda. Un aspetto significativo va valutato quando scegliete la potenza della plafoniera: La potenza, in questo caso 72W, si riferisce all'accensione simultanea di entrambe le serie di LED, "bianchi e gialli". Questo significa che se scegliamo la luce naturale, creata dalla combinazione bilanciata di entrambi i tipi di LED, possiamo ottenere la massima luminosità. Invece se vogliamo usare luce man mano più calda o fredda, perdiamo potenza. Gli estremi, 3000K e 6000K, si ottengono spegnendo completamente una serie o l'altra di LED. In sostanza la potenza si riduce del 50%, cioè 36W nel caso specifico. Per il resto materiale leggerissimo, non di particolare fattura, ma dal basso non si nota nessuna sbavatura particolare. Sehr schöne und handliche leichte LED Deckenlampe mit dimmbarer Fernbedienung, sehr gut dimmbares Licht, inkl. Montage Material, gute Verpackung, die Lampe schaltet sich auch beim ein und aus schalten über den Lichtschalter um.
