Protecting your vision is worth the price.
I bought this visor with a Bauer 5100 helmet about 4 months ago. I had no problem putting it on the helmet, the visor looks good on the helmet and protects my eyes well. So far it has stopped a hockey puck and a stick from hitting me in the eyes with little to no marks on the visor. If you are thinking about getting this visor you should, it is worth every penny.

Great replacement for my 8 year old Oakley visor
Having been a fan of Oakley visors for years (definitely better than the I-Tech ones), it was a real pain in the ass to find one by Oakley. My previous visor after 8 years of use needed a replacement. On this visor, it's the same optics as my first one (so great quality), but I thought this time that I would get the tinted version. For me, I found that light tint helped relieve my eyes and tone down the brightness from the rink and boards.
