I live the thickness of cotton and fact that it is cotton and not some crappy poly blend. Everything i find is a poly blend and has that gross sheen that looks really cheap. This looks like an heirloom duvet that your cool granny handed down to you. I love the comfort of real cotton. Only gets better after washing. The frilly doo-dads held up in the wash which i didn't really expect. Our dog sort of gets it dirty often so I'm happy that it looks even better washed and with a few crinkles in it, real boho looking! Also it lightened up the room a lot. We had a grey duvet before this and i like the vibe in the room more now!Wish it came with shams. Little pricey bu worth it for the cotton.

Like others say, it is on the thin side, but not "going to rip any moment" thin. I bought it for a coverlet for spring and summer, not to use as a duvet, so that might make a difference in use. It looks SO GOOD on my bed, and love how the fringe frames the mattress. I included a photo before I got the room done, right after I put the bed together and the service dog's bed in the room ;-)

I got this for my 17 year old daughter. She wanted a duvet from Urban Outfitters but they were way too expensive. This one is even better in person than in pictures--she absolutely loves it. It is high quality cotton and super soft. We washed it inside out (and zipped it) on cold and dried on low. Lots of fluff came off so needed to take a lint roller to it before using. Seems to be just for the first time drying though. The frayed edge fluffed up after washing and it looks awesome! The color is great too- a nice cream color. Very happy with the price!

It arrived clean and nicely packaged. It’s a cream/ beige color more than white. It looks great and feels great!

Loving my new duvet. It is the perfect balance -not too many frills and not too simple. It is quite comfortable. True to size. The style looks just like the photo (the photo gives off a blueish tint but it is actually cream colored). Wish they offered an insert with it!

This duvet cover looks just like the ones on Urban Outfitters but for a fraction of the cost. I wash and dry on delicate cycles inside out and it has stayed looking perfect.

It had a moldy smell. I am thinking to give a try and wash it BUT I think I shouldn't wash the item right a way after buying. That's wrong! What if it would be a gift?
