L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Caresse Stick, Cardinal Plume, 0.10 Ounce

I purchased this in Silky Java (a darker nude brown color), and Cherry Tulle (a pink red color sheer enough to be very wearable). As far as the formula goes, I found it to be very lightweight but still moisturizing. I have used L'oreal Le Balm before and it was much sheerer with very little color payoff. I find this formula to be similar, but surprisingly more moisturizing. This was exactly what I was hoping for when I purchased L'oreal Le Balm. This gives very decent color to my pigmented lips and gives me the moisture to keep my lips from getting dry. I have also used Revlon Lip Butters in various colors hoping that they would be more moisturizing, but they dried my lips out every time. As far as the colors go... I have Silky Java which is a brownish dark nude color. It is definitely not a light nude but a neutral color. For me this color was just ok, likely due to my cool toned coloring and my very fair skin. I did notice that it made my full lips look even fuller. The Cherry Tulle is my favorite of the two. Because I am very fair it is hard to find a wearable red, but this totally fits the bill. It looks really dark in the container, but in reality it is a sheer red with pink undertones which is perfect for my cool coloring. As far as the lasting power, the color lasts hours, but the moisture wears off in a couple of hours and you need to apply, but since its like a balm its easy to reapply without a mirror.

I was unable to fine the shade in the stores. Glad to find it on Amazon. Great nude color for fall/winter. Moisterizing.

I love the color and price

I like more color on my lips than a mere gloss will give me, BUT.... I don't want to look like I have dried , caked-on blood on my marroon colored lips (like Alicia-Juliana Margulies in The Good Wife - (I DO love the show though) This is SUPER CREAMY and the color is a pretty bright true hot Pink ( not Fuschia, a purply-pink but.. a true pink. However this being said because it is semi transparent it is not so"in your face" as to look like too much. I am Jennifer Lopez's coloring (I have a BETTER singing voice- a LOT LESS $$$$$. But this color would look great on her as (in all modest honesty ) it does on me. If your are very fair (like my Irish Husband) the color might be too bright and a tad shocking on you- I would recommend the color "Rose Taffeta" ( L'oreal Colour Riche Caresse Stick, Rose Taffeta, would be a nicer color on you lovely fair-skinned beauties-it's a muted, nude, Pink. If you have Latin colored skin, a tan or are looking for a creamy, bright , semi-transparent product that is less than a lipstick but more than a gloss,then you'll love this!

I received this item and it was totally ruined when I opened it up. It looked as if it had already been returned by someone and the company sent it out again. I only clicked on one star because I had to in order to write a review. NO STARS FOR THIS COMPANY.i will not be ordering from them again. I did not return the item since I would have to purchase a return package which would have been as much as the lipstick. This item was thrown in the garbage!!

Of course I accept online photos with a grain of salt but I really didn't think this stick would be so unsaturated compared to the photo. It (Cherry Tulle) is a SHEER cherry, pinkish-reddish shade that I'm not particularly fond of, especially on my tan-complexion. I wish that I bought a more natural or nude color since it is not at all impressive in the deeper hues. It feels very moisturizing, like chap stick. In fact I have a tinted chap stick that looks exactly like this on my lips but was $1 compared to $8.20! This product is a definitely overpriced.

Finally! After half a Century (OK, almost!)The color I've been searching for but could never find! This lipstick is so moist & soft, it glides smoothly on your lips. Not heavy or thick. Great for chap lips like mine. BUT,.it's really soft! I broke 1(at this price, I bought 4) in half as I was putting it on. BUT it repaired well due to it's softness. I'm not as hard w/i like my other brands. BUT!..(Last one!)It doesn't last! I keep 1 in my pocket always to reapply, like chap stick. The color is so natural looking & also hides the discoloration s in my lips making them look normal! From all my other brands, this one is the shortest wear time. Because of my bad of chewing/eating Lipsticks & chapsticks right off w/I minutes! I can't even keep lipstain on! I wish it stayed on like Fran Wilson's mood matcher lipsticks! Those wear the longest on me, (1-2hrs)just the colors is not what I prefer. If your not a lip chewer or licker, this lipstick will not disappoint! Great for replacing thick chap sticks!

I purchased this in the color Violet Chiffon, which is a beautiful, wearable pinky purple. I believe the sheerness of the color is what makes it so wearable, but it's definitely bright enough to be your pop of color, especially in the year of radiant orchid. The formula is moist and creamy, and I did not find it to be drying on my lips, which is often a problem for me. This will be a favorite for me, I can tell, and I will look at other colors in the line.

This is one of my favorite lipsticks! It reminds me of the Revlon lip butters, however it is more shear than the lip butters. It does not dry out my lips like other lipsticks. The color is a pinky coral with shimmers in it. It smells like soap when you put it on but the smell wears off after a while. It lasts for like 4 hours. Overall this is a great product if you don't mind reapplying lipstick.

This L'oreal product was a really good buy. For a minimum of money, it went on easily, smoothly and felt exactly like 'caresse' in its textuer. I would recommend this product.
