LA LEELA Men's Camp Hawaiian Shirt Beach Aloha Party Casual Holiday Solid Plain

I have now ordered 5 of these shirts in different colors. I read the reviews before ordering, especially about size. It's true that the shirts run large. I normally wear a large. So I ordered medium, and they fit fine. For me, the shirts hang perfectly with some form. The problem I have with shirts like these (kind of like hawaiian shirts) is they kind of hang on me like a muumuu. These do not do that, at least not on me. I didn't want to get the typical hawaiian shirt which people think that I'm really old then, thus the solid colors. And these are good colors. The shirts that I have bought, as far as the colors go, look just like the pictures. As far as some of the reviews saying they had problems after washing, I didn't. I followed the instructions, delicate wash (or hand wash in HE washer) and then cool dry in dryer. No problems with shrinking. They came out smooth. I hung them up without having to iron. Getting rid of old summer shirts, and wearing these now. One other thing, I sweat easily, but not in these.

This shirt is amazing. Granted, all the La Leela Hawaiian shirts I've bought are wonderfully comfortable and solidly constructed, but there's something special about this shirt that is unlike other non-La Leela shirts I've bought in the past.The solid color allows this shirt to be worn when one would never consider wearing a typical visually "loud" Hawaiian shirt. But to the wearer, it has all the comfort, breathability, and informality of wearing a Hawaiian shirt, because underneath its staid exterior it IS a Hawaiian shirt. But to the observer, it's simply a good-looking, classy summer-weight shirt that blends into any non-formal situation.Another factor worth praising is this is a La Leela shirt, a product from a company that has THE ABSOLUTE BEST customer service I've ever experienced on Amazon. Annie took the time to help me figure out what size I wanted two years ago when I bought my first La Leela shirts for a trip to Hawaii. She helped me again when a particular shirt I ordered was temporarily out-of-stock. And she again helped me when I was curious about the specifics of the solid print shirts I hadn't noticed before.I've ordered four of the solid print shirts and have found them as comfortable as the Hawaiian print shirts. My only wish is that there would be more solid color shirts from which to choose, and I expect that one day, there will be.I cannot praise the comfort, fit, and look of this shirt enough, and I can't praise the customer service of this company too much. It's a joy to work with them and I look forward to buying more of their shirts in the future.

To find a size to fit a rather large man and make him look really good is really challenging; however the quality, richness of color and cut of this elegant Hawaiian style shirt with mini embroidered white palm trees was beyond as described and modeled on photo of model. One has to imagine what this will look like on a shape that is not like the perfect specimen shown; but I took the chance and was more than completely satisfied. I washed it as well (cold water-hung dry) - color did not run and wow what a look and feel and very elegant too such that it could be worn under a jacket. Has a square bottom so can be worn over pants as well as tucked in.Most of these types of shirts my son has purchased have been made with Rayon rather than polyester like this one, which look good on the hanger until you wash them and then they shrink and wrinkle ever so easily and the embroidery gets shrunk like prunes . So, this La Leela brand shirt with a nice pocket was made with polyester will make it easy for my son to wash, dry, hang, and then when he wears it - he won't look like a guy who just took picked the shirt out of a pile off the floor!I bought two of these and the other one was more of a "traditional" Hawaiian style with bright sky-blue, greens, palm trees, etc. very festive, which was still rather nice looking and it too washed the same way and he looked sharp enough to wear to a casual event or dinner. I bought a third one from another company was no where near the quality, style, or for that matter size to this one.So, after many years of seeking Hawaiian shirts for a large man sized at 4XL, finally - finally found the right material. These were also available though Wal-mart too for only a couple dollars less, but Amazon got them to me before Christmas rather than after so the couple of dollars were worth it as, of course, are the shirts! Will certainly buy again if doing one of those parties for a group of people where everyone wears the same shirt - ought to be fun - eh!

I don't like short-sleeved button up shirts. In fact, I don't won any (or didn't until now). I bought this shirt because I was having shoulder surgery and needed a button up shirt and I didn't want to use one of my good dress shirts. I thought this was going to be a throw-away shirt. When it arrived, I was BLOWN away! I love how this shirt feels and I love the fit. Most incredibly, I love the way this shirt looks on me. I will most likely end up buying a few more. The shirt is incredibly comfortable and it looks great! This has been one of the best Amazon purchases I've ever made and it was completely a surprise.

I have several La LeeLa Hawaiian shirts and I just love them. The fabric feels luxurious, they look great, the colors are vibrant, they are incredibly comfortable and they fit me perfectly. But winter is coming and the thought of running around in the snow wearing a Hawaiian shirt seemed a bit depressing (and perhaps, pathetic) so I was thinking that I'm going to have to put them away until Spring. But that means I will miss that wonderful feeling when I put on one of my La LeeLa shirts. That was depressing. then it occurred to me -- what if they make shirts other than Hawaiian shirts? Sure enough, they do. They are made the same, same material, great colors, fit, etc. -- they are just solid colors. I immediately bought four. And I love them.
