I used these over vertical venetian blinds that are hung above sliding glass doors. I didn't want something expensive because I used S hooks to go through the fabric. This was my renter friendly solution to ugly vertical blinds.

it is not " silky and smooth to the touch " it has a rough linen effect and does not go with panels in the room that fit the original description . So rather misleading

Exactly as described, perhaps more on the white side. Thin material but as expected.Gives a nice sheer, slightly glossy gossamer effect but still offers privacy.
