Ultra Recovery Boot Password Reset CD Disc for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 9 (All Versions of Windows)

After having a shutdown during a windows update I didnt have much hope for my computer. Would not even get to a boot screen... just a blank, black screen, mocking me. I tried using a Windows boot disk and no cooperation.. just that unfeeling black screen. Just before losing all hope and doing a dreaded format disc and OS install I happened upon this piece of software. Being such a decent price and really having nothing to lose I ordered it up. After putting it in the CD drive and miracle happened. The computer not only booted directly into windows... it finished the update and everything is just how I left it. You are my hero Ultra Recovery disc!

Received a different disc than the one pictured and described. The disc was worthless at fixing any problems. There were no choices to choose from. It ran the program automatically and erased the password, which I did not need since I knew my password. Sent back to Amazon for a refund. If you need to fix Windows boot problems, check the blogs for many free solutions. Some worked for me, but did not fix permanently. I bought a new hard drive and re-installed Windows. I bought a Sabrent USB reader for my old Laptop hard drive which allows you to see all your old files. This only works if your hard drive is not damaged and you only have boot problems due to Microsoft Windows software errors. Microsoft help was of no help for me to fix their own errors created from poor programming. Their advice was to re-install operating system.

Very Simple to use.. Luvett....Just load it to your DVD drive and turn on ur PC or Laptop. works well your forgotten Password will show on the bottom of the space were u type ur Login Password. :))

Very dissatisfied with product. Did not work as described. Followed instructions that were included but could not get it to work. Downloaded a competitive software and worked the first time. Very disappointed as this software had other functions that could be used. I couldn't reset the windows password on Win 8.1. You don't need more problems when your already fixing another.

works a little funny on windows 7 32 bits. but other than that it`s ok.

This worked well for me to copy / recover files from a PC that had a lost windows password. Life saver! The directions were not bad for this task. However 4 stars because I was hoping to use it to allow me to unlock the windows password and reset it. I thought the online description suggested I could do this but if so no directions for unlocking passwords was provided.

it is based on the original acrs, i found this to be more useful and this is something i keep in my "back pocket" ... definitely worth it.

The computer was evidently damaged to the point that it could not even read the disc, so it was not useful to us.
