The Guild: Complete Megaset

I came to The Guild super late, like Vince Caso was already an adult by the time I watched it, but I just had to snag this collection to catch up on what was missing from YouTube at the time.

Bought cause i wanted a copy of the guild to have some of the cast sign. The inside part of the case came broken and the the discs looks like it was just printed on labels.

I was so excited to find this so many years after "The Guild" aired! A perfect addition to my collection! It's getting harder to find online, yet now I know that I can watch it whenever I want!

I decided to buy myself a Christmas present in purchasing a copy of the complete series of the Guild after it was removed from Netflix. I was a little worried after reading some of the other reviews that the package was 6 separate disks, but happy to say I did receive the series in a complete set. The megaset is pretty bare bones in that once you open the DVD container there is only the 6 DVDs and no additional promotional material. I have tried playing the DVD's on my playstation and everything seems to be working. The really cool thing is that each DVD contains a lot of "behind the scenes" material that was previously uploaded on YouTube. In all I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it for any fan of geek culture.

The show is funny and a neat peek into the world of role playing and role players. I myself am not a role player…I married into a very well established geekdom and several fandoms. I may or may not have been sucked into more than a few of them, this one included. And I am glad.So, what are you doing still reading this? Go buy it. And while you’re at it, pick up the complete season of Firefly. Again, you can thank me later.PS I guess I do have a couple complaints....the day before I bought this it was $20 bucks cheaper. Sigh. I need it for a birthday surprise so I paid it, knowing that the series is worth every penny. However it ticked me off a bit. And the print quality leaves something to be desired, but that is a small concern. Lastly, there wasn't any kind of inserts in the box. Not a big deal, but I kinda was hoping for one for her to sign when we meet her next week.Edit: We did meet Felicia and she is the kindest, funniest, sweetest person ever!

This is one of my favorite series. It is currently unavailable to stream, so I bought the DVD set. Unfortunately the very first disc didn't work (it got to the second scene of the first episode, went blank and skipped backward), so I returned it for a replacement.The second set had the exact same issue, so I returned that as well. Not sure what can be done, but be aware of potential quality issues with the DVDs. Hoping the show becomes available to stream again soon!

i remember watching this years ago, and remembering how big this truly was. and in all honsety the web isn't the same today. now most of this is on youtube i think still, so there is that.....but in my opinion, theres nothing quite like owning it.

We'll be short and sweet here- The Guild is a fantastic show, one of the first "real" web series, and just a funny show with a lot of heart. Also, if you happen to go to the Smithsonian, Codex's costume is on display there- that's right, The Guild has made it to the big time.Of course, if you're looking at this page, you probably knew that- so, what about this DVD edition? Well, all the extras in the individual discs seem to have made it here. The print is as clear as we could hope for, the sound it crisp, and while the navigation isn't anything to write home about, it gets the job done.Get this if you want the best (THUS FAR- c'mon Blu-Ray...) collection of The Guild series.

Great collection watched it twice, little more choppy than on Xbox, but totally worthwhile. Sad it's over just as i found the guild.

If you love the cutiness of Felicia Day, you will love this DVD. It contains the full Web Series and you can watch each season without a break, like one long movie which is great, as you get the whole story at once. Each episode normally starts with a comment of Felicia Day into the Webcam.For a pure Webseries I was pretty impressed how good it was....Enjoy it
