Winco 13 Piece Professional Bar Set

This isn't a shabby starter kit. Comes with the bare essentials but giving three stars for various reasons. I had purchased this and received the package incomplete. Was missing both the red knob bar spoon and the 1-/1/4 x 3/4 jigger. Emailed Amazon immediately and they sent out a new one for me at no charge. Just had to return the incomplete package. A bit of an inconvenience but it happens.Next one comes in with bar spoon in place and the jigger, but the jigger is the incorrect size. A buddy of mine also bought the same set just a few days after and he also received the incorrect sized jigger so I'm assuming they have the measurements listed wrong. Or we both just got unlucky. The jigger we both got is a 1-1/2 x 1 oz jigger. Still usable but since I actually needed the one they listed I deducted a star for that. Considering I already went through another return process it'll be a hassle to keep going through them until everything is correct.Secondly, the two shaker tins do not sit well together. For the 28oz shaker to actually be capped properly you need an 18oz shaker to go with it. The 16oz shaker given with it sits way too deep into the 28oz shaker and gives you barely any room for shaking the drink and also doesn't seal well, so be careful. It's much easier for the seal to break while shaking and having the drink spill everywhere. This I gave another star off simply because it's not as practical as it's supposed to be. I now just use the 16oz shaker to hold all my tools and use a standard pint glass to cap the 28oz tin.This set still works fine as is, especially if you don't use it often and only want it for a cocktail every now and then. For the price it's not a terrible set, but I'd definitely look into spending a bit more to find something more practical.

Well made set for the home-bar, or professional bartender. My daughter just graduated from bartending school, and she needed a nice set of mixing cups to carry with her, and for home-use. This set is well made, and the mixing cups seal and break easily, every time. The strainer is a nice add-on, but rarely necessary, as pros rarely use them (more of a movie thing, really). The bottle opener is solid, and provides great leverage, so you don't get worn-out by the end of your shift. The mixing spoon is well angled and proper-width for layering drinks and stirring through ice. The jigger appears to be of proper measurements, and the pour-spouts are spot-on for "pour-by-count" (they also seal well). My only issue is with the waiter's tool. It is very cheaply made, loose-feeling, and I fear it will break if used more than a few times. Fortunately, very few professional bartenders use such a tool (again, more of a movie thing), so it will be something to have in a pinch?

This is a great bar set. I have retired all my other ones and only use this to mix drinks. You can use tin to tin or tin to glass. It looks so cool when using it and right away you get complements. I have used every part of this package to mix drinks. I am enjoying the spoon and working on getting my pouring to layer down. Get this set before you buy the more expensive ones and you might not every buy them.

Everything works fine but the mixing spoon's rubber end has poor adhesive and fell off. I popped it back on and it mostly stays there, but I could never use it to muttle anything, like fruit for an old fashion, for example.

Not a bad set for the price, however my spoon was missing the red stopper on the end, and the wine key isn't metal like the one in the picture, but is a cheap plastic one with loose fittings. My strainer was also a little beat up (scratched, prongs bent slightly) as well as my spoon being slightso it could be packaged better.

Nice kit for home bar. Wish the pourer spouts came with covers to keep dust and bugs out of the drinks. Can't complain for the price paid, I just got the covers separate for a few dollars more.

I bought this bar set as a gift for my younger brother. When it arrived, it all together in a plastic bag and could easily have scratched. This made a very poor presentation of an otherwise nice product. My brother is happy with it. I would have been happy as well had it been packaged a bit better.
