Flexible Elbow Coupling with Stainless Steel Clamps, 1 1/2"
Flexible material w/ 2 hose clamps on ends. Fits snug on 1-1/2” PVC pipe. Cheaper than using PVC union to allow removal of sump pump.

Seemed to work and fit properly
Right size as described and fit with out any issues

Used for solar pool heater panels
Replaced a schedule 40 PVC elbow that cracked due to expansion and contraction of a long PVC pool water pipe. This is flexible and slight larger so I was able to cut out the old part. Reinstalling a pvc part would have required couplers and multiple pieces to be glued. This just took tightening 2 included worm gear radiator hose type clamps.

Diameter is too large for listed size.
For anybody curious, when fully loosened, the inside diameter for the 1.5” coupling is 1.916”. Which I believe is way too large for a nominal 1.5” outside diameter pipe. I was barely able to snug it down to a true 1.5” outside diameter pipe without breaking the tightening mechanism and it had very little range left in it. I was using this for a dust port on a miter saw. Maybe I am just unaware that nominal sizes run large in the plumbing industry, but I would have expected the coupling to be able to be made a quarter inch smaller for this product. Meaning that the 1.5” would handle a range of 1.25” to 1.75” I double checked and it clearly was labeled 1 1/2” on the part. Otherwise this appears to be a quality coupling. The rubber walls are a beefy 0.2” thick and the stainless steel tightening mechanism is well constructed.

Life saver
This picture doesn't make justice but these joints fit smoothly and still gives you a lot of room to fit into tight spaces. Here is a not top notch example of installing drain pipes under a school bus.

Flexible? No. Not unless you have long pipes with lots of leverage.
This is as solid and sturdy as it looks. Me sitting on it (230 lb) makes no difference to its shape. It's THICK, solid, rubber.Excellent if you need it exactly as it is shaped. Need it bent a bit more or less? I have no idea how one would do that.
