COLOR WOW Root Cover Up – Temporary Hair Color Touch-Up

I live this product so much!! It covers my roots perfectly during the days I am waiting until my next hair appointment. So easy to use and natural looking!

It had a high star review. it came in today. It looks exactly like eyeshadow. I have dark brown roots. My hair is blonde. It does not work at all! It looks like everywhere you put it on your roots and it falls down onto your face like you have a bronzer all over the top of your forehead. The brush that you have to use that comes with the product. You literally have to put half of it on there just to do a couple millimeters of your hair and it falls out like eyeshadow/ bronzerI will be contacting color wow . This is a expensive product that doesn’t work. very disappointed customer for 35 bucks but I have to return.

Looks very natural, easy to apply. Except the platinum doesn't do anything for my hair, I think blonde next time will be better.

I have bleached platinum Asian hair and was looking for something to hide my very obvious black roots in order to stretch touchups, since it's super painful. This product didn't do much to hide the roots, except make them look sort of grayish, and it did not match my bleached hair. However, I was looking through some photographs which I was using Color Wow on my parting, and I noticed that it made the black roots look a lot paler and less stark than in person. I think it'll work a lot better on someone with brown or dark blonde roots than someone with black Asian hair! I'll probably continue to use it for special occasions to reduce the starkness of my black roots.

The product works it doesn't cover a large amount of roots I can see some of my roots still but they're lighter and less noticeable. For $34 I expected a larger quantity of root cover up and I find that it could use a different type of brush because the bigger brush did not work with the powder but the little side of the brush worked was soft enough to apply the powder without absorbing it but it wasn't big enough to cover a large area. I have platinum blonde with natural blonde hair so it covered it enough to get me until I can update with a box of color that I also ordered off of Amazon so I would recommend this product if you have a photo shoot or you're in a pinch or your roots bother you but for the price I definitely would not buy again unless I really needed it for a special event.

I purchased 3 ~ the platinum, blonde, and dark blonde. The dark blonde was completely broken inside and because it is a soft powder was everywhere inside the box. The other two arrived without issue. In my opinion, especially considering the expense for such a small amount of product and its consistency, it should be packaged in a pot style container. That way if it does break apart, at least it can be contained and saved. Packaged like an eyeshadow compact meant the broken pieces became dust. As for the other 2 colors I was able to use, I truly like this product. I ended up using one of my own eyeshadow brushes because the ones given were a tad too soft. But I understand that's to better control application amount. It did a great job giving coverage to the gray without being too obvious. I would have liked to have used the dark blonde around hairline, to see how the darker color worked. All in all I would say that beyond packaging, it is a great product. It is expensive for the amount of product, but you have control over the amount applied, and where it's applied. The compact has a mirror, but I can't imagine ever using it. I gave it a 3 star for the value because of such a small amount along with the potential breakage and complete loss of product.

It does NOT work! It is basically like baby powder or eye shadow that comes off and will not stay. I was so excited. Now I am just sad! Too good to be true for anyone with brown hair and blonde highlights. If you are grey or blonde, then you may get better results, but still not worth this price and it does not match the videos.

Ich kann meinen doch sehr dunklen Ansatz damit großartig kaschieren. Das Puder deckt natürlich nicht völlig ab, aber der dunkel/hell Kontrast wird wesentlich geringer. Wenn mal keine Zeit fürs Nachfärben ist, kann man es mit dem Produkt durchaus etwas hinauszögern...

My hair is white blonde & the WOW covers the only place I have dark roots between salon touch up. My hair grows this white blonde naturally everywhere except now with age & my hairdresser tells me this happens with aging the part at the top of my head grows in dark. I've tried spray root color & it's terrible for my hair color & doesn't work at all. This powder is amazing. I couldn't get it in Canada until recently. I bought it in the States. Wonderful stuff!

El producto llegó dos días antes y en perfecto estado. Es el segundo que compro, porque el tono es para mi color, le falta más brillo y al pasarse los dedos por el cabello se tintan, pero me saca de apuro . Para mí va bien.
