Really nice, soft, thick socks. Too bad they're too small for my 8.5W feet. I can get them on, but they slide down at the heel and twist around the foot. I'm bummed because these are high quality and otherwise perfect for my needs. Edit: After a couple of washings, these stretched a bit and are now more comfortable. I wear them with leggings (which tend to hold them in place) and they're okay that way.

I have been looking for warm socks that 1) aren't scratchy wool blends 2) aren't so thick that my boots feel tight. These socks are almost perfect.Pros:NOT scratchy but are plush and soft.Not too thick to wear with boots w/o going up 1/2 size.Not too tight around the top of the sock, stretchy but will stay in place w/o slipping down my heel (I hate that.).Cute coloring--even for an adult woman. Not little-girl fushia-pink.Could be "scrunched" down to wear as slouchy socks with the right shoes/outfit.Cons:Not quite high enough on the leg. They aren't ankle socks but they don't come up quite as high as regular boot socks. Not a big deal, but I like them a bit longer on my calf.I plan to buy more and would recommend them to a friend.

Beware of these!! I was SOOOOOO disappointed, because I loved the color combinations and I've always worn this type of sock in cold weather. They are really very cute, and very warm, and the fit is great. The problem is that they're just poorly made. Two of the five pairs developed holes (my toe poked right through) on the FIRST WEARING - prior to even the first wash - so now I'm not holding my breath about the remaining 3 pairs. I've relegated them to "the socks I wear to bed" drawer. Which is a real shame, since they're just adorable.EDIT: I completely forgot to add that the wait for these socks was interminable! I placed a multi-product order in early October; received everything BUT the socks within a week. Whereas I was aware that these socks were not available for Prime Shipping, I was NOT prepared for a wait of almost 4 weeks. Bottom line: I've read this complaint in a few other reviews, so if you need these quickly, you might want to reconsider.

These are very cushiony socks! While they aren't terrific for people like me who tend to have sweaty feet, I still give them high praise. These socks were wonderful this past winter when I needed to walk to work in the snow. They got damp but my toes were not frozen. These socks don't feel itchy at all to me. Instead they feel soft and almost luxury compared to many types of socks I've tried over the years. I love the colors as well.One small complaint is that band-aids really shouldn't be worn with these socks as it's impossible to get the adhesive off of the fiber. I now have one sock that has gummy stuff stuck in the fibers and creates a little bump. I don't really notice it when I wear the sock so I don't particularly care. Just thought I'd mention it in interest of full disclosure.Over all, would I buy these again? Yes I would! I may be buying a set for my mother for Christmas actually. As well as another set for myself.

I love these socks! Very warm and I love the colors. I wear a pair everyday and would definitely order these again. There is some piling but very minor and doesnt compromise the integrity of the product.update: 1 year later and I don't have any of these left. They were nice and warm but not quality enough to hold up over time there were holes appearing everywhere after a few months. If you don't mind throwing them away after a season they are ok.

not super thick or heavy weight. there is no arch support. the sock fits ok but the cuff is a little tight. im wondering if i was sent the right product. if these are the "super thick" socks, light weight must be see through. i like the colors. if they were thicker and had a looser cuff, they would be perfect.*contacted seller and they do have different styles of this sock. they were really helpful and even sent me more socks to compare. The cuffs have stretched and are pretty much my go to socks now. they wash well and i don't get clammy feet like with nylon dress socks.

I bought these for myself but ended up giving them to my daughter she wears the same size shoe I do. I love warm wool socks, which these are, but I don't like things to be tight on my ankles and when I take off these socks it would leave marks on my ankles. My ankles tend to swell sometimes so I'm pretty finicky about how socks fit me. My daughter likes them and wears them with her ankle mid calf books. The colors are cute.

Read a lot of the reviews before buying these saying "they're not that soft, they're not that thick, the colors suck" but quite frankly, I have no idea what those people are talking about. These are incredibly soft and thick (much more so than the gold toe socks I frequently bought), and the colors are wonderful and vibrant. There color combos were EXACTLY what they were in the picture. Love them, would purchase more if there was another variety pack of colors, even.
