Worked out great replaced a 1982 Honda cm450 master cylinder. Fits great works good.

Was a bit worried due to differences from OEM and saw other reviews where mount cracked when installed. Mine bolted right up. Has a brake light switch I did not have before. Like to have a brake light for nite rides. Overall fit perfect, hose hooked right up. Bleeds easily. Would recommend for sure!

I used this to temporarily replace the original front master cylinder on my 1979 Yamaha XS Eleven, which needs a rebuild. After installing and bleeding I have decent, but not spectacular, brakes. Be aware that this is a small bore cylinder and it doesn't really have the capacity to operate multiple calipers, so if you're using it on a big bike with twin rotors up front like me adjust your expectations. It will work, but consider it a temporary stopgap Rather than a permanent repair. Edit: a year later, brake pressure was definitely down from when it was first installed. I never intended to leave it this long in the first place. Finally got around to reinstalling the rebuilt master and it's a huge difference. Anyway, definitely some longevity issues.

Fits great! Only problem is handle broke where it’s molded out to compress the cylinder

This Front brake cylinder isnt built for dirt bikes, its way too big! Will still work though, just needs some DIY magic. Best bet is to move the brake lever all the way in on the handlebars and cut the excess lever. Shipping was quick tho and its kinda cool that the reservoir is so huge bc you rerley have to fill it

Nothing bad to say about this. Seems fairly good quality and I had no issues using this with new brake lines. Fluid flowed through easily and bled the lines by hand without a problem. It has a click when you press the brake lever, which I actually don't mind at all, but some might find that annoying. Brake lever has a nice strong feel to it, but I haven't actually tested it on a ride yet. Will update later if there's any issues with it (unless I'm dead I guess). I couldn't find an rebuild kit for the OEM master cylinder for my bike and it needed to be rebuilt, so it was much cheaper and easier to replace it entirely with this. The plus side is this comes with a brand new brake lever and the old brake lever was also broken, so kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Also nice that it comes with a new banjo bolt and washers for the brake line. Great value overall.

Not the same as oem

It didn't pump enough fluid out and would lose pressure also Grey small metal filing come out into master cylider was just defective.......
