One important safety feature
If you've never worked with RGB stripping before, it's a length of material that you can cut at certain intervals. Cutting at the right place exposes metal contacts so you can attach whatever connector you need to get power to the strip. These are produced the same way - they cut lengths of RGB, stick an adapter on one end, and leave the other open. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal, but I was surprised to see that the tip end of one had enough exposed metal that when I turned on my PC, it started sparking where it was contacting the case.I solved the problem by putting a bit of electrical tape on one end, but I'd suggest, in order to not scare customers who happen to have their strip contact somewhere, that the manufacturer consider a cap on the end or a dab of electrical tape (or at least a note to the buyer that they may want to do this).Other than that these work just fine, and the RGB is like any other RGB strip as far as color, intensity, and programmability.

Ruined my computer!
This led strip killed my motherboard! My gaming pc specs:M/B: Asus b450m-aCpu: Rzyen 7 3800xGPU: Red Devil 5700xtMemory: (2) Trident Z 16gb at 3200Psu: EVGA 700w GoldMy pc was working great with absolutely no issues. I wanted to brighten it up with a little more RGB, and decided that these looked good and the reviews didn't give off any red flags. However after plugging these into my 4 pin rgb header, in the correct orientation, my pc failed to boot. Frightened, I removed the light strips and tried to power up again. From this moment on, I have not been able to boot, or even get into bios. All I get is a black screen with no signal. I removed my Mobo from the case and tried to boot with only cpu and 1 stick of ram from multiple different manufacturer's. I had to take my Mobo to a local shop for diagnosis, but they can't get it to boot either. I wish so badly that I never bought these.. I am heartbroken with the loss of my machine.I will definitely be sending these back, but that won't help much towards a new Mobo...

Awesome lights
These are great lights! I only have 1 RGB slot and I ended up using 4 strands with 2 extension cords and it worked perfectly. It is important to note that you’ll only get as many colors as your motherboard allows. Mine is a msi with mystic light and I only have access to 7 colors apparently which was very disappointing but I was still able to get a nice shade of pink by using pink seran wrap over two strands 😂. The magnets are very strong too! I only used the adhesive on the top which was plastic and it’s holding extremely well. Overall I’m very pleased with these lights and will probably buy more to spruce up my hubby’s PC too.** Update **After about a week the adhesive strand that was on the inside-top of my case started to fall, I was able to move the strand to a metal piece and the magnets held it really well, I think the adhesive doesn’t stick as well when it gets warm.

Works as advertised, but you get what you pay for
ProsReally affordable, and performs as desired. The magnets worked surprisingly well in my case and the lights were all working as expected. No dead LEDs or anything like that. I got these in order to have some simple 12v RGB lights to plug into my ASUS board's RGB headers. I had tried addressable LED strips from airgoo, but the problem with those is that the iCUE software that I'm using to control all of my system lights uses a plug-in for ASUS motherboards that doesn't yet support addressable strips. These worked fine with the ROG Crosshair VII Hero motherboard and the latest version of iCUE as of this writing (3.33.246). The included extension cord was sufficient to get all three strips mounted where I wanted them with decent cable management.ConsMan, the build quality sucks. The connections for the RGB header, the individual strips 4-pin connector and the extension connector are really loose and don't snap/clip together at all. A slight breeze can disconnect these things, so you might want to tape the connections together once you get everything plugged up. This is probably only a problem if you plan to be in and out of your case a lot, or will be moving the case around often. Time will tell. Another problem is the wires are extremely thin, so be careful while routing them through your system. Don't carelessly pull them across metal edges, through backplate holes, etc. I was being pretty careful and still somehow managed to shave a centimeter off of the side of one of the three connectors on the main cable. This revealed the metal wire underneath, which is bad when you've got these things plugged into a $200 motherboard in a case with several metallic parts. Fortunately I was able to fix it up with a little electrical tape. As the title says, you get what you pay for! These wires and connectors are not sturdy at all.Overall, these are a good value. For what I wanted, I'm happy paying $19 for these vs. $60-$70 for the name brand equivalent that requires a hub. However, if you want firm connections and high build quality, you'll want to spring for the pricier kits from one of the big brands.

Easy way to add extra RGB goodness
I was looking for a little additional RGB illumination for my case, and these little strips ended up being exactly what I needed. They're open ended on both sides to ensure compatibility. I do wish that there was a second extension cord for daisy chaining. I had to put these at a 90 degree angle on the top and front of the case as due to cable management I was unable to place these at the top and bottom as I had initially intended. Keep in mind that if you only have a couple of RGB headers (like I do) that it may just be easier to attach these to a SATA powered controller. They're not addressable anyway so it really doesn't matter if they're attached to the motherboard.
