Very! Very! Good movie, but...?It's only poor quality transfer from VHS to DVD.

With soldiers like these, it's no wonder the Austro-Hungarian Empire came to an end.This is a top-rate comedy in the same class as "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To the Forum" or "Les Visiteurs" or "The Gods Must be Crazy". Yes, there are some very funny naughty scenes but they are always in context and shouldn't create offence at all. The characters are wonderful - especially the Italian prisoner-of- war and the long-suffering Captain.It's a film worth seeing at least twice - ideal for watching with friends.
