Seiko Prospex SRPC39J1

I am surprised how much I love this watch since I have several dive style watches, including other ISO certified divers. For me the dial and bezel color and the size on my approximately 7.25 inch wrist is absolutely perfect (the small lug to lug size helps quite a bit). Accuracy of the movement has been better than specs as well (generally within 10 or less secs a day by the atomic clock) so overall great watch and great PQR.

I happened to stumble upon this Seiko Mini Turtle J Version not long ago. It was right after they were released. Amazon only had one in stock at that time, and I went for it, not really knowing much about it. Man! I'm so glad I did. This watch is just STUNNING. The blue dial is bright and starburst in some lighting, but dark and matte in other lighting. The movement is great and should last forever. The cyclops wasn't my favorite at first, but it's grown on me. And I'm not usually a fan of Seiko's OEM rubber strap options, but this one was quite good. It's soft to the touch and wears great. Overall, this may be one of Seiko's greatest, yet most under-rated dive watches. I think that once these hit a broader marker, people will be all over these. So, my point it this: if you find one here, buy it!
