Paudin, 5 inch Chef Knife
Exactly as described. Seriously sharp, has a great grip and also has a safety sheath at the tip. I am so glad I purchased this knife and I am already considering it as a gift to family and friends. Of very high quality, this is a lovely knife and II highly recommend this product.

My favorite knife in the the block
I ordered one of these 5" parers by Paudin in 2021. It became my go-to knife....the one I reached for first. The handle has a great feel and the blade remains sharp and effective. Since I used it for so many cutting tasks, I decided to purchase another in 2024 so I would always have a clean one for each task. I also purchased one of the smaller fruit paring knives from this company and I don't find I use it regularly because its blade is thicker and it's more awkward for me to use. I keep going back to my 5" utility knife. Highly recommend products from Paudin!

Beautiful knife!
This knife is more than something pretty to look at. It is sharp and comfortable to use. It looks and feels like a much more expensive knife. Excellent deal!

Excellent; very much like the KUTZ that have been DC'd
I'm a knife enthusiast. I collect and make outdoor knives and appreciate a well-balanced, comfortable and sharp kitchen knife. I've tried several, including many off of Amazon, and this line and THIS class, is excellent. They make some less-expensive blades too, but I wouldn't waste my time with those. They're hollow feeling (too light) and the metal is subpar IMO.THESE are wonderful, but on the pricey side. Don't get me wrong, you can easily pay a lot more (and even get a worse product) than this, but some people will scoff at paying 50 bucks or more for a single knife. These are weighty, well-balanced, and sharp. They also look great in a block. I got some KUTZ brand a while back with laminated VG10 steel with a Damascus look and pinged finish that I really like, but it seems that they've since been discontinued.HIGHLY recommended - esp. if you have stone-sharpening skills as this will help rejuvenate the edge when without roughing it up.I recommend waiting for a sale. I currently have the utility knife and will be adding the bread knife soon.
