We have 3 Paudin knives now, and they are an excellent knife, especially at the price. The handles feel good, they are exceedingly sharp right out of the box, they look great, and feel precise. They hold an edge very well, and a quick strop before use keeps them that way. Hand wash and dry before you put them away, they will serve you well. I will gladly recommend these to friends needing a very usable brand of knife at a good price.

This is my second Paudin knife (the first was a chef’s knife.). These knives are well made and a terrific bargain. My son has been baking sourdough bread, and we needed a proper bread knife to do justice to his amazing creations. These knives feel substantial, are very sharp, and do the job well.

This is a good quality bread knife. It looks nice, it cuts, and it matches the rest of my set. Feels good in the hand, and I like the look of the Damascus steel.

Huge step up from my grocery-store paring knife I've been using for over 20 years. Way more substantial. Nice and sharp, but not amazingly so. Very pointy tip, so be careful. Everything is more substantial, beautiful and refined. The blade is much thicker which is great on a hunting knife, but I'm not sure that is the case on a paring knife. Foods that cling to the blade seem slightly more difficult to slice through than with my old thin-bladed paring knife. I'm thinking that a high-quality knife with a thinner blade would be preferable, but it is still nice to work with. Other foods slice great. Comes with a nice little sheath to cover the blade when needed.

Over all this is a great Bread knife and I am happy with my purchase! I love it for my homemade loaves Oddly enough the 8" length was the right choice to fit on my under the cabinet on my wall mount magnetic knife board A 10" bread knife is always the best choice (they do sell a 10") But with linted space the 8' fit the bill The Price is great! It looks nice and works fine - I'm sure it will last a long time Thank you PAUDIN! I also bought a 3 knife set for an incredible price

So many uses. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my SIL to help slice meat easier to make jerky, but they both use it all the time. I'm buying one for myself next. So far, the blade is holding up on the sharpness aspect.
