Love the rug! High quality material and soft under foot. The color is a light creamy/yellow straw. The only downside is the discoloration that was present. I’ll try replacing the item.

The rug was heavy natural fiber rug. However, it had a rubber coating on the back which was fabulous and it had a material edging to keep the fiber from sticking out all over the place like other natural rugs. Unfortunately, I had to return it since it was a bit long for the space and I worried about cleaning it. It was going in a laundry room and spanned in front of the sink where I feed my dog and wash his beard, wash his paws after going to the park and give him a bath. I think it would have been hard to keep clean. In a normal hallway it would have been gorgeous and worn really well!!!! I thought about another room to put it in just so I could keep it, but I just didn't have the right spot.

These rugs are very well made, look terrific and their weight and substance insures they lay flat and feel good to walk on. Highly recommend them!

Love the grass weave, color and quality.

This is a really nice heavy weight rug, comparable to potterybarn style. I placed it in our mudroom where there is high traffic and it has performed perfectly, taking everyday wear and tear from kids running in from our garage area. It's a little rough, but the more it's walked upon, the softer it gets over time.Great for an entryway where you are wearing shoes anyway. The rug is attractive, durable and functional. The back of the rug is covered in a non-slip coating, which works quite well with the high traffic and stays in place. The only caveat is the initial chemical smell. For us, we are just passing through our mudroom, but I would be Leary of the smell if it were placed in a room where you were going to be breathing the chemical smell for prolonged periods of time. Not sure if it is the rug or the rug backing. It does start to go away after a while, but beware if you are sensitive to odors. You might need to leave it out in a garage to air out for a while. This is the only reason O gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase and would buy it again.

We bought two of these to use as runner for our stairs. The quality is great and looks beautiful on our stairs we purchased 2 and the installer cut one to match! Looks great!

Update 02/2025 I have taken this down to one star. It's been less than three years since purchase and the FIBER SHEDDING IS CONSTANT AND COPIOUS! It's in the living room of a decent-sized one-bedroom apartment, and I swear there is not one inch of my home that hasn't gotten fiber from this rug on it. It makes tumbleweeds in every corner and crevice, it lands on my bedside table, it's in the kitchen, and I'm afraid I've probably been inhaling and or eating smaller bits and so has my cat. I hate this rug. I'd also note that my purchase total was about 30% higher than the current listing. Money down the drain; but I would (and may have to) pay someone to get this hairy beast out of my life (at which point I will have to deep clean every square inch of my home to reset it from this disaster of a purchase. DON'T DO IT.Update 10/2023: the fibers shed and get EVERYWHERE. Not sure I would purchase again; makes a mess throughout the rest of the house. Maybe fine if you are an everyday cleaning kinda person, but…otherwise expect fiber bunnies all over the place.I get this rug to spruce up my living room. It did the trick, looks nice, covered up my worn wood floors. Love that it has a backing and doesn’t shift/move. Lays flat.I would not recommend for small children, as I’ve gotten an occasional splinter on my foot (not frequent, but it happened once and I wouldn’t let a baby or toddler on it). Also if you have pets, be prepared to spend extra time cleaning up any related messes. I have a cat who, like most cats, rushes to a carpeted surface whenever she hurls, and while you CAN get it out, it takes extra time, effort, and a soft scrub brush to do the trick (and I recommend Bissell pro spray cleaner - that stuff is magic). I mostly vacuum with a dyson - suction only - it does take a while to actually look dirty (bonus!).Also watch out for wild variations in pricing.
