FunkoPop Animation: Full Metal Alchemist - Alex Armstrong (Exclusive)

This figure is a very neat representation of Alex Armstrong, bigger even than Alphonse's armour. It stands taller than all the Pops in the FmA series and it is the heaviest. The head and the torso have glitter all over them, making the skin sparkle, just like in the manga and the anime.The body is out if proportion, making the figure resemble an overgrown giant, with big head and exaggerated arms. The feet are huge, compared to those of the other characters, this Pop literally taking up more space than any of them.The skin has a rough texture from the glitter, only to bring the sparkly effect out. The moustache and Armstrong curl are the perfect blonde colour and the skin is not too dark, like some Pops happen to have.The gloves have little spikes that are not very sharp, but they can cause a dent in the figure's chin if they are pressed together too hard.That brings me to the little fault of this Pop, which is the fact that the head is hard to move and it can literally pop out. That is because the shoulders are very buldgy and they nest the head in between, making it very hard for it to stand properly between them. I accidentally got the head out, which was a bit of a shock, but I tilted it a bit backwards so that is would appear that Armstrong is watching over things, not at them. It's simple to adjust the problem, just pay attention not to lose the head, no pun intended.The sculpt is very good, detailed and well coloured. There is little to say about the cons of this figure, because they can be turned into something funny very easily. As to say, this is an awesome Pop, well made and a great addition to anyone's display!

He came in his protector in a well sealed box with no damage! He's so shiny and glittery that the FMA fangirl in me just had to squeal with joy when I finally got him on my shelf. 💜

He is beautiful!! The sparkle!! I did order two. First one, he had black markings on his face (returned). Second one wasn't as glittery and one set of eyes lashes was off but I can live with it. Very happy to have! Head does detach easily tho.

Bought this for a friend of mine who is a huge collector and when I opened it, it was beautifully packaged! Came with a nice clear case over it and in mint condition! Will buy again!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my Alex Louis Armstrong pop cane covered in glitter. It makes the figurine more special and true to the anime.

Genauso gut gestaltet wie die anderen Figuren der Reihe und ich habe sogar die Glitzerversion erhalten wovon ich positiv überrascht war.Macht sich sehr gut im Regal.Armstrong ist ein wenig größer und schwerer als sogar die Alphonse Figur was meiner Meinung nach perfekt passt.

Really like this pop, the glitter really adds to the pose and feel of the pose it represents from the Anime.
