These motion sensor bulbs work as advertised. I was hated to fumble around in the dark for the light switch in our basement, and will always forget to turn it off when I left, but now, I have a perfect resolution for this condition.Pir motion sensor bulb! It can auto turn on when I walked close to the basement and it will auto turn off after I left, so great! I wish I can found this earlier.These bulbs are bright, very sensitive and even comes with a 12-month warranty ! Highly recommend!

I ORDERED A BOX OF 2 MOTION DETECTOR LIGHT BULBS. I INSTALLED THEM IN 2 OUTDOOR LIGHT FIXTURES. BOTH WORKED GREAT FOR A FEW HOURS BUT THEN ONE OF THEM STARTED GOING ON AND OFF EVERY FEW MINUTES BUT THERE WAS NOTHING MOVING OUTSIDE. NO BUGS, WIND, ANIMALS OR ANYTING ELSE WE COULD SEE THAT WOULD HAVE SET THE MOTION LIGHT OFF AND ON ALL NIGHT. THE OTHER ONE WORKS GREAT. I BOUGHT ANOTHER BOX OF 2 AND REPLACED THE WACKY ONE. IT WORKS GREAT NOW. CAN I RETURN JUST THE ONE BAD BULB AND GET A REPLACEMENT? THANKS!

I purchased these to use so when I take the trash out the side door of my garage I wouldn't forget to turn the light off. It works great but it does have to be placed down instead of up. You also cant use a light fixture that it has to go through glass or anything. My is an open fixture facing with a bulb that faces downward so it worked great. Hope that helps! :)

I was very excited to see the product. I love my outside fixtures but wanted motion sensors. These bulbs solve the problem. I installed as directed and they worked well but not consistently. Sometimes they don’t go on at all and sometimes they work perfectly. Overall, I am happy with them until I find something better. They are an inexpensive solution that work good enough to make me satisfied.

UPDATE - Light bulb burned out already & HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! DO NOT PURCHASE. Put in the light fixture you would normally pull the chain to turn on in utility room & it worked pretty good until there's the slightest light coming in basement window. Also, it doesn't turn on if the light bulb is put in on the ceiling light fixture right by the door as you enter room. Extremely Disappointed!

My lights stopped working on my garage door opener(have no idea why, door works fine). Anyway, was looking for some kind of motion sensor fixture or light to screw into the garage ceiling light socket. Came across these bulbs. Installed the light and it does exactly as I had hoped. No more dark garage to come home to, and no new bill to repair or replace the door opener. Quick and easy fix.

I have a 5w bulb by this company and LOVE it. But it's not really bright enough for my garage. I'd frequently forget to shut off the light, and as the door is solid, not notice. The original bulb was like MAGIC! Before I even got the door cracked open, the light was on! But I wanted a brighter light. I specifically looked for this manufacturer because I liked the original bulb so much! However THESE bulbs require me to go down the garage stairs in the pitch dark and shuffle towards the middle (where the light is) waving my hands before it switches on! An accident waiting to happen! They're going back.

Wish it detected movement farther away.
