Item arrived damaged which was very disappointing but Proline customer service was great. I was able to ship it back for free, and even get upgraded to a Pro model which was $500 more expensive for free! I highly recommend buying from Proline as the customer service goes the extra mile.

Excellent range hood
Did my research, have a 48" commercial range. Yes, you need to use stronger hardware other than what is supplied. Really nice and efficient range hood for sure.

Quality not as good as advertised
The range hood is not as nice as it looks in pics. The way the range hooks/latches on doesn’t make it flush and you can see a gap. The suction is weak as well. Very disappointed.

This unit is very well made and I'm holding one star back because instructions are very poor and the screws to attach to the wall are a joke. I'm a contractor and didn't need the instructions but for a homeowner they should have a template for the wall, where to install the outlet, etc. As far as the unit itself, you won't be disappointed, very well made, six speeds, one and two are very quiet. Just use your own screws into a stud or backing board, don't hang it on sheetrock like they suggest with their plastic toggles.

Can't handle the heat
Turns itself off and on mysteriously. you can't do anything about it! This happens daily. Some times you can't turn it on, other times it turns itself on and you just can't turn it off.

Nice hood.
Nice looking and works fine. Led lights are not too bright but adequate. Only complaint is the display on the front. The LEDs indicating power and fan speed are kind of blinding. Talked with manufacturer and there is not a solution. That's the only complaint
