I would like to recommend this sd card reader
"I would like to recommend this sd card reader. It is half the price or more from the apple one and it works as good plus you get all the extra ports. I plug it in my iPhone 8 and iPad 2, it worked well with my both devices.Transfer speed is as fast as I had expected, nothing bad at all. This is a perfect product that your digital camera and movie card reader needed, which matches great for your apple products."

Order of connecting
The only thing that I had trouble with was the order in connecting it to my iPad. I finally figured it out to put the media in the adapter before I connected it to my iPad. Once I did that it worked like a charm.

Worked at first. Now it doesn’t.
When I first purchased this item it worked like a charm. Plugged a micro SD card into it, plugged the lightning end into my iPad Pro and quickly had my images in my iPad photo collection. Perfect. Since then, it has been stored in a drawer for the last three months. This time I wanted to use it with an SD card. Followed the same procedure and the iPad doesn’t seem to know that anything is plugged into it. I tried with the same micro SD that I used back in January and again, no response from the iPad. I find it hard to believe that anything went wrong with the device during the three months that it was in the drawer. My lightning port has no problem connecting with any of the cables that I use for charging. The only thing that I can figure is that recent updates to iOS have made this third party device incompatible with my iPad. I would be interested to hear if others have had a similar experience. If I had reviewed the device when I first received it , it would have merited a solid 5 stars. Now, I’m giving it 3 because. ???

What they sent me doesnt remotely resemble the photo of the item I ordered on Amazon
They sent me a lightning to USB adaptor. No SD card ports. The picture and description of the item I ordered showed and said a SD card could be inserted directly into it. Regardless, I did try to use two different USB to SD card adaptors with the device they sent me. Both my Iphone 8 and Ipad said the device needed too much power and would not access a SD or mini SD card. First time I've ever needed to return something to Amazon. Can anyone recommend a similar Ipad compatible product to view photos from a SD card?

I wish it worked
Product does not work on my IPad Pro. Does work on my IPhone however, but workflow was for my IPad Pro. So, product will be returned as there is no product support.

Works as expected
Use this to check my trail cams in the woods instead of having to take the SD cards in to my computer I can see the pics on my phone, select and keep the pics I like and place the SD card immediately back in the camera.

Needs a power input.
Works as described but needs a power option however. The device cannot power certain flash drive and keyboards.

Who needs a computer?
Yessss! I do EVERYTHING on my phone! So utilizing a DSLR for photos at work was a daunting task until I discovered that I could use this bad boy to put pics onto my phone, edit in VSCO, and shoot them off to Instagram. Who needs a desktop?? It’s 2019, y’all!!
