Great Bazaar Wagh Bakri Instant Cardamom Chai Tea, 260 Gram

I tried this in pursuit of an "instant chai" and although the flavor wasn't quite what I was expecting, it was tasty and so easy. Enjoyed having it for an afternoon tea break.I would have reordered but at $1.47 for homebrew, it was too pricey. Will have to stick with a chai teabag and milk.

Way better than American chai, which tastes syrupy and downright gross. This chai tastes like the authentic chai you’d get from a chaiwala. The Wash Bakri mix is similar to my homemade chai (cardamom, clove, cinnamon, ginger, peppercorn, Darjeeling tea, condensed milk….you get the idea), and much easier to have at work when I need a chai fix than hauling a hot thermos from home.

I have a ton of teas and ha s tried many cardamom teas from the various US vendors and the cardamom taste was really lacking. This is spot on. It's creamy and sweet and has such an amazing taste. I honestly don't think I even realized what cardamom really tastes like until now since everything else I had tried before had such muted flavor. Really yummy and more exotic tasting than your typical cardamom tea, but since this is 3-in-1 it's a bit high in sugar and carbs, but very worth it! I have try to keep myself to just one cup a day.

I didn’t care for this for two reasons. I believe the first ingredient is sugar, (I’ve thrown the packaging away so I can’t check) and the second problem was that the flavor wasn’t to my liking.

I like my tea light and sweet. This was too strong, I couldn’t even finish one packet.Packaging was neat and easy to use.If you like a strong and not too sweet tea flavor, you might like this.

Not as expected as the cardomom flavor is too strong for me. I usually add cardomom to my regular tea (Wagh Bakri) but this is too much aroma for me and I didn’t like it. As mentioned in most reviews, it is not too sweet though. I will stick to my regular Wagh bakri tea though.
