Add pizazz to ordinary frozen french fries! Go ahead and buy the "no-name" frozen fries. A few sprinkles of Lawry's French Fry seasoning and BAM...you have great tasting french fries. The 16 oz size is enough to last several months. It is a little high on the sodium levels, but the added taste is well worth it!

Haven't we all encountered this phenomenon?You remember having an experience when you were a child, especially with food.You buy that food item again, hoping to experience the very same thing again and are disappointed?Yeah. That happened with this. I'd read on another review that this was pretty close to a 1:1 replacement for the A&W season salt. The problem though, is me, not the food item -- my expectations.I can taste that it wants to taste as good as it was when I was a kid -- thin, like butter spread over too much bread -- but my palate has changed over the 3-4 decades since I had A&W fries with their season salt. It could be the proportions of the ingredients that make it taste like The Ghost of A&W Season Salt. I don't know.The season salt itself is pretty good on other things other than fries. Heck, it's decent on the fries as well. The memory of the original A&W season salt is just too overblown to match with this product.If you're here to buy it because it's like A&W season salt, temper those expectations with "it might not be" for you.

This is my favorite seasoning to use on fries or when I am frying potatoes in a skillet. I have never had any issues with purchasing this product online.

I ordered this to replace the French Fry seasoning I usually get at Dollar Tree, which I love on Sweet Potato Fries. This is not nearly as flavorful, it works in the absence of the Dollar Tree seasoning (which is sooooo good), but I would not highly recommend it, just that it works...

I really like this seasoning. It’s very similar to the fry seasoning at red Robin. It’s a little pricey, but I think when used in small doses, it goes along way. Definitely makes fries better, and you could also use it for other things, Like chicken, fish, certain cuts of beef, maybe even the bowl of soup. Highly recommended.
