Works, but not by itself.
After I installed the X-Ring in my 2007 Buell Blast, I didn't notice any difference. Then I figured it would work better if I opened up the stock airbox to give the X-Ring more air to work with, so I did some research in Buell Blast forums and removed the inner walls in the airbox, got rid of the air filter cone, and just put a Outerwear filter on the air intake bugle. Now I can feel more power in the low to mid throttle settings and I'm pretty happy. Next project: upgrade my exhaust.
