FLEXISPOT EN2 Whole-Piece Standing Desk with Clamp Power Strip, 55 x 28” Electric Stand Up Height Adjustable Desk with Cable Management (Black Frame + 55" Black Top, 2 Packages)

I purchased the 55" wide rustic brown desktop, which has a cool woodgrain finish. I am very pleased with my purchase. The desk is very sturdy and functions perfectly. The desktop is one solid sheet of MDF that is covered with a laminate finish. It is right at 1" thick. The desk does ship in two separate packages, so don't be alarmed when you get the message from the seller to inform you of this fact. The desktop and frame would be too heavy to ship together. The desktop alone was pretty awkward for the UPS guy to get off his truck. Watch out for the other standing desks on Amazon that have desktops that come as two separate pieces held together by wooden pegs! They can ship those in one package because they are thinner and far less sturdy. As for the assembly process, there are predrilled holes for the table legs but not for the center holes on the crossbeam or for the cable tray. However, the screws that are supplied are self-tapping, so just use a battery powered drill and apply a little force. The screws will quickly grab and pull right into the mdf. Same goes for the two accessory hooks. Watch out for the crossbeam extension set screws. When you extend the crossbeam it is very easy to extend only one side and end up going past the set screw. Then when you try to screw the set screw in on that side, it will fall right down inside the hollow beam. Yes, I speak from experience. No worries, though. I pulled the sliding center piece out of the beam and grabbed my extendable magnetic grabber tool to pull the screw out. Then I reinserted the center piece and made sure to keep it centered between the two outer pieces. The set screws all went in and bit into the center piece perfectly. The instructions warn you about this, but it is easy to extend only one side and not realize you are doing it. All in all, the assembly process is very simple, and the instructions are easy to follow. I already feel less stiff in my joints and more refreshed at the end of the day just from standing for half the day and sitting for the other half. I wish I had done this a long time ago!

So far I'm satisfied with this order. Delivery was fast and without any issues. So top and base comes as 2 different packages. At least in my case I was able to see delivery for both and in amazon tracking it showed delivered only when both parts were delivered. So that was nice! I got everything with in 2 days! Now I want to share my experience with assembly. I read reviews here that table is awesome, but there are issues with assembly and manual that they provided. In my case I didn't experience that at all and would say it's false. If you have put together something more than a basic IKEA furniture, than you will put this together with ease. I did it in 15 minutes. Instructions in manual are clear and I never had problem with confusing assembly orientation. One of issues I saw in reviews is crossbar adjustment, and issues only accrue if you don't strictly fallow instructions. In step 2. need to release screws and extend crossbar length, here just extend till max sign and don't tighten it. Make screws only lose enough so you can extend crossbar. As per manual only in Step. 8 when base is attached to table you tighten crossbar screws, these way don't need to guess how far need to extend crossbar. Now about table, it looks nice and is able to hold my heavy PC and two monitors with ease. At sitting position table is sturdy without any wobble, at almost max high that I use for standing, there is some wobble as it would be expected but it's not disturbing me at all. Unless you purposely shake table you will never notice it during regular use. Motor is fast and it goes from sitting to standing in few seconds. Only small con to this table is, adjustment device cables are short so you can only put it on right side where motor is, I really wish it would come with some extension cables so I could put it on other side since predrilled holes are at both sides. Also the minimum position could be a bit too high for shorter people. Overall I'm happy with this table and hope it will last long!

Purchased 4 weeks ago and so glad I did! I shopped for 7 months or more trying to find the perfect desk. This is 100% it! It is beautiful! And so quiet and smooth! I got the 55” rustic brown with black legs. I needed a longer desk because for work I have to use 3 large monitors plus computer. I was concerned about the sturdiness and thickness of the tops because I use a single pole 3 monitor mounted monitor stand. The desk is an inch thick and it holds it perfectly. It is sturdy, secure and the motor is so smooth there is literally zero movement of my monitors when it goes up/down or when I’m typing. And the desk sits on thicker pile carpet. What?? The motor is very smooth, quiet and if I had to compare how loud, my small fan near by is louder than the desk. Packaged extremely with care, lots of cushion. Everything needed to assemble was in the box and some extras in case needed. I’m 5’6” and I lift it to 42.2 which is perfect for my height. It does go much higher (48.6”) so someone 6’ or more I believe would be able to find a comfortable position as well. The top came in one solid piece which I like a lot. And the color is beautiful. I also like the protective layer to protect the wood from spills. I assembled in about 45 mins alone and I’m 59 yrs old Not hard at all. Instructions are clear and step by step. I did flip to standing position alone but would be much easier having a second person to help. 10/10 quality. 10/10 quietness 10/10 size and sturdiness 10/10 ease to program the heights. 10/10 thickness of top I don’t have any negatives on this one at all. I literally am so thrilled at how nice it it! It has helped me enjoy my work so much more being able to stand or sit (I work 10-12hrs 7 days when it’s my shift) I hope this helps someone!

The table is nice, solid and seems to be durable. I like it so far and recommend it👌 But think twice if you want to buy a black desk, cause almost every touch of your hand would leave a mark on the surface and give the desk a “greasy” look. So consider other colors.

Been using it for 8 months now, no issues

I purchased it for working from home and to help with my poor posture habits. The desk is pretty easy to assemble and has several options for various heights, and manual adjustment to suit your desired positions. The unit is quiet when operating and whilst it includes several sticky-backed cable attachments for running the included power pack, they fell off within a week and I had to mount my own. It could also do with other mounting options for things like a power board so that you're not dragging cables up and down when you raise and lower the desk, and for running those cables neatly to your devices, but these are minor gripes, and for the price I paid, I did not object to a quick run to the hardware store for these items. If I needed another one, would I buy this again? Yes.

The product looks and feels premium and the description is accurate. The only thing I wish the minimum height was a bit lower to be more ergonomic (be under your elbow with a comfortable chair height). It feels way more solid compared to the similarly priced item in Officeworks.
