This is a perfect kit for a school project.
This is a very nice pre-cut foam board missions model. When you open the box, you will see just a total plain white 3 piece foam board, in the beginning the instructions are kind of confusing, but as you take time and carefully review the instruction pictures it will eventually come together. We bought a lot of the decorative accessories from Hobby Lobby, we got creative and decided to build the court yard a little differently from the original design, we had lots of fun😊😁 this total project with this design as is, cost a around $150.00 so be cautious it can get pretty pricey and addicting when decorating 😂😩

Santa Cruz Mission
One of the most beautiful missions you can get as a kit. Well worth the money. Unfortunately the kit does not come with all the additional parts and accessories like the one I have. I had to buy the grass, trees, the clay pots, water fountain, golden cross, paint, the bell that goes inside the bell tower, and the wooden fence separately. You can find these items (with the exception of the wooden fence) to complete this mission on amazon. The kit comes with the garden walls, mission walls, roof, and the bell tower. All precut in Styrofoam form. Once fully assembled I applied joint compound to all the walls and every square inch of the mission with the exception of the roof, and it came out looking very nice and authentic. Well worth the time, effort, and money.

No instructions in package only link to videos
Only upset is no instructions.. had to look up videos. A 10year old had problems with it. Other than that good to go

Not as easy as it looks to assemble.
I’m writing this review on behalf of my husband as he’s the one who built this mission. It’s not as easy as it seems. He had to manipulate some pieces and shave them. None the less, I don’t believe a 9 year old can do this alone. Definitely will need some help with supervision. I’m happy with the results tho. His mission was a big hit in 4th grade class.

Just what we needed
Had lots of fun putting this together. Painted with white, brown, tan paint on sponge for walls and gray brick red for roof. Extra pieces like animals and monks from Michaels. Used random cut styrofoam for mill and sign.

Horrible instruction
Horrible instruction, very difficult to follow because the pieces weren’t marked. They could make some efforts to provide a better instruction, paid around 40$. Very disappointed.
