Great purchase!
I bought this monitor along with a second camera for baby number 2. With my first, we purchased a Samsung and I was SET on doing the same for the second. However, I was persuaded by amazing reviews and price point to try the Summer monitor and I am so very glad I did! The picture quality is better, set up was a breeze. I’ve read reviews where people say the monitor won’t stay on, thats VOX mode, you just turn that option off. When you aren’t plugged in, it defaults to VOX mode. We have had this monitor for about 6 months now, I haven’t noticed a change in the battery life, still going strong. I am able to take the monitor anywhere in our home, and even on the back patio, and still get a crystal clear picture.

Best Monitor!!
Love this baby monitor!! We have the two camera configuration and we are so happy with it. The range is amazing and the sound quality is far better than previous monitors used. I love how it cycles between the two rooms and being able to zoom in has been very helpful. The added sleepzone feature is a MUST for anyone that has toddlers trying to escape from the crib. It alerts me anytime my 2 year old is trying climb out! My other favorite feature is when the screen turns on as soon as it hears one of the kids. I’ve had three other video monitors and this is by far my favorite! Highly recommend this monitor!

Great picture quality and dark room visible distance
One of the biggest issues with baby cameras is that they can't see more than just a few feet in a dark room. This camera has great distance ability. If your camera spot is a little farther from the crib than average, this is a good option. Yes, the screen is quite bright, but I don't think it's a deal breaker. The only major complaint that I have is the placement of the music/lullaby button. It's on the top of the monitor, on the right side, the same size and area as the power and sleep screen button. Whoever thought to put it there needs a slap on the wrist. Really terrible placement. When reaching for the monitor in the middle of the night while you're as tired as any parent is, it's VERY easy to accidentally turn on the music and disturb your child. Absolutely blows my mind why they decided to put it there.

Excellent antenna range and easy camera adjustment.
I use this monitor for when my grandchildren stay at my house and I am very pleased with it. It is easy to see and hear them on the monitor. It has a good antenna range. I can take the monitor outside with me with the reassurance that I can still hear and see my grandchild when they are sleeping. I also like that the camera can be controlled from the monitor. I have my camera mounted high up on the wall and can adjust it depending on which child is sleeping in the room. I would definitely recommend this monitor.

Horrible battery life
This monitor is okay. It had the features I was looking for to replace my 6 year old monitor that is starting to go bad, but there are some things about it that bother me so much that I've gone back to using my old one until it officially dies and will only use the new on in our camper. The battery life is awful. It barely makes it through daytime naps. There is no chance it would make it all night if not plugged in. I don't prefer to lug around a charger everywhere I go during the day. The cord is insanely long as well which would make that a pain. Another thing I find annoying is if it's plugged in and you have vox on but have turned the screen is off, the screen will come on if your baby makes noise but doesn't go back off if the noise stops. You have to manually turn the screen back off so the screen is almost always back on when I wake up because every baby is bound to make some small noises without waking. The placement of the buttons is poor. I almost always accidentally turn the screen on when I pick up the monitor wasting already limited battery. It's also too easy to press the lullaby button which could wake a sleeping baby. Finally, picture quality could be better. For the price it's decent, but if these things I mentioned are important to you, spend a little more for a nicer one.

Camera and base/video unit Unpairs too easily.
With hands full carrying this in the stairs and on regular basis I happen to I guess press the buttons that unpair camera and base. This is so incredibly frustrating as need to sneak into babyroom at night to pair. (Re)pairing process is a hassle as well.Otherwise it does what is described. Nothing more nothing less

Buy elsewhere!!!
I used this product for a little less than 3 months. At first it the monitor was satisfactory. The picture quality wasn’t great by any means but it got the job done. After just a few short weeks, the monitor started to constantly hop in and out of range of the camera, even though it was well within the company’s claim. At the same time the volume started to become loopy. Even though it was on the lowest setting, it would jump in and out of extremely loud bursts in its own. Clearly something was defective with the item. I contacted customer service right away. Due the the nature of baby/pregnancy I purchased the monitor very early in the pregnancy and opened it when my baby was 2 months old. My contact with the company came at 12 months and 2 weeks after the purchase date, just 2 weeks shy of replacement. They absolutely refused to work with me even though I had only used the product for 3 months. Save your money. The quality not the customer service isn’t there.

Good range
This is the first baby monitor I have purchased. We are happy with it. My main complaint is how easy it is to accidentally push the music button. The music is loud and annoying. Definitely not what you want to push when baby is sleeping! The battery life could be a bit better but not a deal breaker. I have yet to lose signal in our large house!
