DOESN"T WORK!!!! Seller (Dinsink) was no help
I received a defective product. I didn't try it for about a few months because the printer still had ink. When it came time to replace black, it didn't work, saying "Cannot detect." My Brother is listed as a compatible printer by the seller, too. Black still full of ink, others in plastic. Seller said sorry, too late, and didn't even offer any sort of explanation as to why I got junked cartridges. I'll update if something changes, but certainly at this time I'd advise you to look elsewhere.UPDATE - Seller won't do anything. Updating because after reading the other feedback and questions, I think it's equally likely these just don't work on some of the models the seller is advertising. I have a MFC-J450DW and it isn't working here. Seller told someone else it was maybe a chip issue. Nothing else, no help. Well, I'd look elsewhere for this type of solution.

Everything was good until I installed the black cartridge
Everything was good until I installed the black cartridge. It instantly clogged the jet. I haven't had time to fix it yet to see if it is going to be an on going problem.

POSSIBLE FLAW but all is well so far.
Received purchase today and went online to see better filling instructions. It tells me that these cartridges will not work on new printers. I'm waiting to see if this is true. JUST ADDED INK TO ALL CARTRIDGES. AND REMOVED TAPE FROM AIR VALVE AS WELL AS FILL HOLES. ran a cleaning and a test sheet and it works fine so far despite the fact that the printer is not 1 week old. All is well so far

Cut per page ink costs to a small fraction of a cent.
I used the lc51 refillables with my MFC-J435W. Universal pigmented black and dye based C M Y give great color. These have auto resetting chips, and see thru cases mean you never take a chance on burnt out nozzles because the ink level fell too low.Be sure to leave the printer in standby so it can self clean, and do not use ink more than 2 years old, to avoid clogged nozzles.I buy 8.5x 11 photo paper, and cut two 5x7s, or one 4.25 x 6.5, then two more from the leftover sheet.

easy to install and no problem with the printer
When i got my shipment, two items were broken and unable to use. I emailed to the seller, they replied and provided solution right away. Welcomed and respected. Now I am using the product, easy to install and no problem with the printer. So far so good. I am happy with it.

Chips are not compatible
The chips that are on these refillable cartridges are not compatible to brothers printers that use LC103. In order to work you need to change the chip from your original cartridges. Make sure you put the right one for the right color on the refill cartridges and it will work perfectly.
