Bought the larger version 4.53” . This shave bowl is double walled stainless steel , with brushed outer surface which aids grip when lathering up in the bowl.I paid £12.99 and that was fair for what I received and how long this may do its job ( decades if it proves to be decent quality stainless steel ) . I would not pay more than £13. Which is at the top end of what it’s worth and fair value at that price .With it being double walled with no visible seams or joints it should be very robust and will not shatter if you drop it on a tiled floor in bathroom . Furthermore with it being double walled it is quite light and would probably not even crack a tile if dropped .To summarise well made long lasting fair value , robust and perfect for the job of lathering up with a shaving brush in preparation for a proper man's shave using a traditional double edge razor just like your father and his farther before him used to . Buy it and use it then leave it to your male heir .

Such a high quality item that fits in the hand so well. I'm very pleased with my purchase

Quality is great, sturdy and good looking if you like brushed stainless steel.Perfect size to hold.... just a bit too deep.. when lathering the soap i find getting the brush in to mix the soap ends up with most of it up my brush and have to scrape it back into the bowl. Other than that it would be 5 stars.

Does what you need it to and will last a lifetime

It’s big enough to work up a good amount of lather that stays warm due to the double skin design.

This item was marked when it arrived but I didn’t make a fuss. I bought it to replace a wooden equivalent that perished. I shouldn’t have that issue with this one :)
