Don't Waste Your Money. Better off with a Washing Up Liquid Bottle Than This
This is a terrible sprayer. After you place the water or liquid in and seal it up, you then use the pump to pressurize the sprayer. As you pump it you can hear the air escaping. Then on pressing the trigger it lasts for 1 to 2 seconds. It would work if you could continually pump it as you spray, but that is pointless.Total waste of time. Some of Silverline's tools are ok and do what you need them to do, this is in the the category of total rubbish and not fit for purpose.

Can i give these zero stars?
Ordered 3 to use for solutions when washing the car.1 is still working, sprays a pathetic little spray.1 worked for 5 minutes before the trigger broke.1 sprays out the handle all over your hand while you try to pump it up.Not impressed

Poor Spray Nozzle
I bought this to water seedlings in our greenhouse and cold frames, the majority of the bottle seems decent quality but the spray nozzle itself is poor. It sprays off at an angle no matter how its adjusted which doesn't make it unusable but its still annoying. Its not easy to get a wide spray pattern either which I can on a very similar spray bottle from Wilkinsons. If I'd have paid much more for this I would have sent it back but at the price paid I'll just carry on using it.Update - Don't use this sprayer with Fabsil Universal protector, it swelled an o-ring inside the nozzle and made it useless.

Better to pay more and buy a different
Bought 3 of these. Within weeks the bottle on one split and leaked, then the pump on another stopped working so swopped the pump from the one with the broken bottle. and that worked for a few weeks but now doesn't spray. I still have one pump which doesn't hold much pressure but sort of works. Will never buy again. I agree about the overall quality of Draper products, nothing seems to last long. Better to pay more and buy a different make

Cheap Chinese Crap
I hold the view that there are 2 kinds of company in the automotive engineering sector: those run by engineers and those run by accountants. Silverline is clearly in the latter class. This sprayer really is a heap of crap.First, as others have pointed out, it is so badly designed and engineered that it won't hold any pressure, rendering it totally useless and unfit for purpose. There are 2 significant problems with product. First, the production people have located the pressure release valve on a plastic weld seam and on a part of the body that has a high convex curvature. Thus if there are even minor defects in the moulding cause the pressure relief valve to fail to seat properly and thus create a massive leak that no amount of tightening will resolve. Second, the handle flexes far too much for comfortable use with 2 litres of water loaded and feels as though it could snap at any time.Take my advice dear reader, and buy German.

Alas mine doesn’t work 😢
I bought this to use for horse fly spray as the constant pumping of standard spray bottles makes your hands ache....but it doesn’t work! I have a similar one for my chickens which I bought a good few years ago, granted it cost a little more.....I shall now invest those few pounds more and get a new one and throw this one in the bin

-1 star For this
Don't waste your money on this cheap rubbish. Spend a little extra and get yourself a better pressure sprayer. This one does not hold the pressure. I had to keep pumping like crazy for it to work and when it did, it was a ridiculous little amount that came out. Also it leaked very badly from handle and trigger. Ended up having more engine degreaser on my hands than the engine it's self. Cheap and nasty garbage need to learn and read other people's reviews.

Adapt to be a cheap beer Keg line cleaner
Works great for a Keg line cleaner once an adaptor has been added.I unscrewed the nozzle and added a reduced bush 1/2" m x 3/8" f with PTFE tape (see pic). This then allows a John Guest 1/2 BSP female from a KeyKeg coupler to be connected to the beer line.Pump the beer line cleaner through, wait and then flush with clean water etc.

perfect for my needs
This item is perfect if you do the occasional spraying on small surfaces.I have use this to spray my fence and patio with cleaners. I didn't want to pay over £10 for something I would use once or twice a year. I was not after amazing quality.I would say that the sprayer is better than what I expected in term of quality and sturdiness.Performs OK, just requires a fair bit of repetitive pumping (it is not difficult or tiring, unless you are planning on spraying a football pitch). So I would definitely recommend it.

Ok for £4, wouldn't pay more for it
It's OK if you will consider low price, however product came defected and J had to fix it so the air could not escape, otherwise ok. Nozzle not the greatest but I'm not gonna complain for £4I have used that for a brake cleaner rather than garden purpose. One of the o ring seals gone in nozzle gone quickly, but I have replaced that with oil resistant o ring and works fine.

Poor
Not what I was anticipating , the bottle itself is holds a nice amount of water, however there are three issues.1. The pump is not effective at deliveringa) a large quantity of water (you have to keep pumping to get a decent stream out)b) the nozzle does not adjust what so ever, you either get a stream of water flowing out (but you have to pump continuously) or you get a little spits of water and not a sprinkle.DisappointedDo not buy! There’s better out there for the price.

Avoid
This one arrived within timescale expected but I could not get it to work. I tightened everything but had great difficulty in getting it to pressurise. Even when it did it only held a few seconds at most. The spray valve was hopeless too for the few seconds it worked (not the fine spray I needed for seedlings). I have had a few of these types of sprayers over the years and had no problems with them. Due to coronavirus will not be venturing out to return - so this was a very poor choice and complete waste of money.

Exactly What I was Expecting (unfortunately!)
Silverline are a brand of tools I would normally avoid like the plague. If you need a specific tool to do a job just once in a lifetime, quality is such that, if buying Silverline, buy TWO and you may JUST get the job done. On this occasion I was ordering other items from Amazon which didn't meet the required minimum spend to qualify for free delivery. As I had been considering buying this type of sprayer I had nothing to lose; buy this or pay for my other items to be delivered. My order arrived speedily and was well packaged. The main body of the sprayer is robust and well up to the job of containing the pressure needed to operate. The nozzle is made of brass (or so it seems to my untrained eye) and is adjustable to give variable flow from a fine mist to a quite forceful jet. However, on first use as well as providing the desired spray pattern in the favoured direction, a similar jet of water was ejected from the side of the spray-head perpendicular to the aim! On inspection a crack was found in the plastic collar into which the brass nozzle is press-fitted.As the sprayer had essentially been a freebie, rather than mess around with returning it, I repaired the crack with super-glue and it now works fine. Unfortunately, the cost of the glue negated any saving that was made over buying a similar item for an extra couple of quid from another manufacturer. In short, if you need a tool to do a job ( why else would you?!) DON'T buy Silverline!!

Rubbish
Poorly made product. Brass nozzle keeps falling out when spraying and the pressure release valve has no internal hole on the main container making the relief valve purely cosmetic

Frustrating
This product is very frustrating to use. There is not markings on bottle for measurements. The tops always screws so that the trigger is always above the pressure release. Meaning that you can always catch it when trying to use.Very poor quality.
