This really is a wonderful and compact machine. Very quick to heat up, I have made toasties of course, but char-grilling meat is a doddle. Chicken, beef, pork and lamb have all worked so well and the steaks turn out so good on high heat. But more than that, veggies char-grilled are so tasty. Peppers, aubergine, onions (see pic) and leeks work well, but try whole de-stalked mushrooms! They dry out as they char to leave an intense flavour you normally only get in a good restaurant. Very pro. I have cooked kebab skewers to great acclaim and it char-grills scallops with ease.The unit opens up to create a good sized electric bbq and this saved a garden dinner party when the bbq ran out of gas! I plugged this in outside and it is indeed a sausage, chicken and steak bbq king!Indoors this will open up fully under the upper kitchen cupboards. The unit has what quite a lot don't - a temperature control. If you have looked at loads and can't make up your - I have been there. I eventually chose this NETTA unit and I am over the moon with it. It really is a must - and so versatile.

Bought this over a year ago and have had nothing but really first class use. So easy to use and cleans easily with a damp cloth while hot. Makes the best toasties I have ever had Pennines ,rolls,bread toasted and also great for heating up naan,pitta,flatbreads. Don’t use it much for cooking food but I am sure it would work well. Bought it to replace the clamp style toastie maker which fell to bits at the hinges because of the pressure you have to apply to close.No such problems with this-very sturdy construction and simple controls. Would highly recommend

Seems OK, switch on the side a little bit fiddly you slide it up to open the grill fully. Not massive but there's ample room for 1 or 2. To be fair it's probably same size as my last one but this is in to halves if you follow. Will be trying a steak this week, my last griddle had a searing option this doesn't. It'll be trial and error with settings as there's not enough instructions in the leaflet. Other than that looks ok but only using it will tell

We bought this to replace a George Foreman, which my wife did not like because it did not have a temperature or time control. This Netta is controllable, and therefore nicer to use than a George Foreman. The quality of materials does not feel as high as more expensive options, but it is fine, and very good value.Overall, it works very well, and is well priced. I would recommend it

I absolutely love this machine! For the past, over 10 years, we have had a toastie machine which we got a lot of use out of. I wanted a grill that I could put anything on, however, as the other one only made triangle toasties.I searched a few options before deciding on this one. And I'm so glad I picked this one.I've been using this during my lunch breaks while working from home to make some quick toasted wraps. Easy and quick to heat up, read the instructions and you're on your way. Easy to clean, I hardly have to clean it at all. Any drips go to the drip tray at the back. The only issue I had was the cutting of the drip tray was slightly off so I had to give it a little tug to get it out, but it's fine now and very useful as previous drippings used to go on the counter.I would highly recommend this machine. One reviewer mentioned that they had to place a knife to keep the sandwich in. While the plates are very slippy, if you place your sandwich toward the back of the machine it should stay there, or you could use a silicone spatula or tongs to push the sandwich in place while you close the lid. This has not been an issue for me and I wouldn't let it put you off.

Pleased with the product, had it for a while and no faults so far, easy to use and clean, makes perfect toasties without contents spilling out

Thermostat knob fall off before I’ve started to use the grill..

Bought this product through Amazon warehouse so it was a returned product and after seeing some of the reviews expected to return it myself. However I was very happy with this purchase and have used this regularly and with no problems. My son went through a grilled sandwich phase so I purchase this to hopefully make it easier and more interesting sandwiches. Since then I’ve used it for so much more mostly grilling lots of meats and obviously making lots of hot sandwiches. I noticed on the reviews that larger sandwiches had people and the machine struggling but I’ve found this to be the best I’ve used for bigger butties the larger surface area and the fact the top and bottom grill are not connected really helps when closing the lid on thicker fatter bigger butties with ease, sometimes the butty does want to pop out the front but it’s usually due to the greasy bottom grill being slippy nothing to do with the ability of the machine simply use a spatula to keep it in place and it works great.Would recommend this machine especially if you can get a warehouse price amazing!
