Wonderful

My father had the paperback copy of this book which a friend borrowed decades ago and lost, he’s been wanting another one since. He was so happy to receive this for Christmas! The book was as new and a wonderful read.

Overall interesting but the book was in … not great shape. The cover was glued to the book and dried up bits of glue kept falling off from it for days. I’ve just taken off the cover and put it away.

It is magical. It feels to me like the ghosts of British Indian era are acting in a movie in front of me.

For someone born in the age of the Raj .. this is a superb book
