DVR Lock Box CCTV 18 X 18 X 5-16 Gauge Steel Security Digital Video Recorder Lockbox with FAN NVR Network Locking Box

Great Lock Box. I've mounted mine to an interior wall and out of site for some extra piece of mind. Yes somebody could still rip it out of the wall and break into the box, but not without spending a significant amount of time. A much more likely scenario is that a burglar would unplug the dvr or cut the AV cables. The fan included in this box is quite loud; so much so that I don't use it. There's plenty of ventilation around the box and I have a premium fan installed in my dvr so the large, loud included fan shouldn't be necessary.

Strong, well designed. Chose it for the fan and removable top (would be a nightmare changing cable configurations otherwise). Fan runs continuously. My only wish for these type units is to have the fan thermostatically controlled. I bought a thermostat control for the fan separately.

I had ordered 2 of these to enclose 2 NVR's. They were delivered on time which was one of the few good things about them.The first one was locked and came with no key, I had to break into it just to use it then purchase a separate lock and key and add extra tamper resistant screws to secure it.The second one had a key that worked but the pins to secure the top were broken and again needed to install my own screws to secure the box.The NVR did fit so I spent the time to fix the boxes instead of returning them.

Pricey but looks like it'll do the job.UPDATE:Fan didn't last a month. Got it replaced, second fan started getting really loud also. DO NOT BUY THIS. I'm gonna have to find another solution and install my own fan.

The fan that comes with this box is really loud. I ended up buying a much quieter computer tower fan with a 120v to 12v power supply. I also wish this box had better ventilation (more holes). But the cut-outs for cables are nice and it comes with grommets to ensure the cables don't get cut on the sheetmetal edges. Alternate colors would have been nice too - I ended up having to paint mine to get the white color I wanted so it didn't stand out so much when mounted to the white wall.

Nice security system DVR lock-box as described. Sturdy and heavy. Mounts easily on wall-brackets (sold separately) with pre-drilled holes at standard stud spacing. Fan is so quiet that I thought it wasn't working at first. Arrived with dent in top-back panel corner, but probably happened during shipping. Not noticeable when mounted, so I dis not make an issue if it. Plenty of room inside. Would buy again if needed.

Great lock box but it seems that the lock could be better. I added two more locks on the left and right side and it worked great.

The box is well constructed. My only complaint is that after 2 weeks of use, the fan began making an annoying noise as if the blades were striking something. I checked for obstructions and found none.
