Solsop USB C Headphones, USB C Earbuds Google Pixel 2 Earphone for Google Pixel 2/2XL/3/3XL, Huawei, Essential, HTC U11 U12, LG G6/V20

I decided to pick up a pair of wired headphones recently because my only other pair of headphones are my bluetooth headphones, which are not wireless, and my Audiotechnica ATH-MX50s, which I don't like to carry around everywhere since they're not very portable. I needed a pair of headphones that I could take to the gym and had wires.Since I have a long history of buying wired 3.5mm earphones and breaking them almost immediately, I decided to opt for USB-C headphones. I've heard a lot of people hype them up as the "best way" to listen to music on your phone, especially now that more phone companies are removing their 3.5mm headphone jack. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ so these headphones are perfectly compatible with my phone.So here are the benefits of these headphones: The headphones have a decent quality feel to them. I love the textured feeling on the wire. They feel as light as air compared to my previous earphones, which is great because they won't bother me when I'm exercising. The USB-C cable plugs directly into my phone with no issues and it works instantly. There's a microphone which is actually pretty good. There are 3 multi-functional buttons that can turn the volume of my phone up and down, skip songs, and answer calls. There's a nice punchy bass in the sound which is perfect for a lot of my song playlists (heavy bass EDM, rap, etc). Also, the headphones come inside a convenient carrying case that can fit in my pockets.Now here's my concerns with the headphones: The sound is alright. It's not the best in the world, but you get what you pay for. For $20, I can't really complain much, but my $25 bluetooth headphones sound much better. Another gripe I have about these headphones is that there are no plastic/rubber clips to keep the headphones tightened. This is usually a common feature on most wired earphones like the Apple wired earphones. I've also found that these headphones will tend to not work when I answer a call. This forces me to remove my headphones and answer my calls with my phone against my ear. I'm not sure if this is just a temporary glitch or a problem with my phone specifically.Overall, I think that the pros of these headphones definitely outweigh the cons. For $20, these are definitely a decent pair of headphones. I'll definitely keep these headphones for daily use at the gym or whenever I'm out of the house. USB-C headphones are still a developing technology so you should expect some small issues with them but they're perfect if your phone doesn't have a headphone jack.

After trying other brand USB-C headphones, I finally found these that work really well with the Pixel 2 XL. This is my second set of headphones. The seller accidentally sent me the white version but immediately sought to remedy the situation and also sent me the black version which I had originally ordered. Great customer service right there. Anyway, I was expecting these to sound bassier than the white version but I was surprised to find that the white headphones has somehow more bass. This black version fits more snugly though and does a good job of blocking unwanted ambient sounds. The loose fitting white version although bassier, lets some background sound/noise through given the way it fits in the ear. Overall, I find these USB-C headphones to be good value for money.

Received my set today and confirmed immediately they work with Pixel 2. Awesome.. wired buds that will never die.The attached earbud rubbers were too big for my ear canals, but there were 2 additional included sets. The small ones fit well enough.But man.. sound quality is.. not great. Almost no part of the frequency range sounds solid compared to for instance, Inked by Skullcandy. Bass is underwhelming, and mids sound "muddy", almost muffled which significantly impacts vocals. They're very treble heavy overall.For my walk to work, or as a set of backups, they'll be fine.. but they're not going to be my go-to for any longer listening sessions.

UPDATED: The MFR got back to me very quick and replaced the headphones. I am very impressed with the customer service. The echo is no longer a problem. I had tried the Essential branded headphones in the mean time, but these are way better and less than half the price. I like that these have the volume buttons, where the essentials do not. Sound quality is about the same except these stay positioned in my ear better effectively making the sound quality better. Win-win.OLD: These work really well for almost everything, except I get complaints from half of the people I talk to that they hear their voice echoing. As soon as I change to speaker or regular modes, the echo goes away, so it is definitely the headphones causing it.

A couple different points - these headphones come in a great carrying box, which helps keep the cable neat in bags. Didn't expect that, so it was a nice touch.The piece that plugs into the phone/laptop seems a little longer than normal, and the area where the main cable splits into two for the respective sides seems a little on the low side (so the earbuds might flail/get caught). Haven't had a problem with either of these yet though.

I was looking for a good pair of USB c earbuds to work with my phone when I found these. They are great, they are very comfortable and came with a few different tips for a perfect fit. They also came in a nice case which keeps them from tangling. The mike has great pickup and my callers say i sound good. I like the control buttons which allow me to answer calls, end calls, and control volume and audio playback. They sound very good, clear and crisp. I have been very pleased with these earbuds and would recommend them.

Sound quality was better than anticipated. It is very handy having the volume control on the cord.Not sure if it is just my ears but I have trouble keeping them in my ears. I tried the various sizes included and didn't have much luck. I've had similar problems with other headphones in the past. I certainly could not use these for exercising.

These were okay for the price. I would've liked for there to have been a bit more punch, and some range. I think they would work well if you're using them for audio books or to make phone calls. I did like the nice case that came with these. I also like how the controls are set up on the cord. Pretty simple to locate and use even without looking.
