After not being able to find the Refresh brand nighttime drops anymore for my kitty's entropion eyes, I decided to give this brand a try. It has the same active ingredients that the vet gave the okay for to help keep his eyes lubricated and stop the irritation that his flipped eyelid causes.The precision tip really makes it far easier to apply into his eyes while using less product, and he seems a lot more comfortable with it once the gel is applied. It helps to keep his eyes open comfortably for longer and cuts down on irritation.Wonderful product, and far cheaper than the Refresh brand.

Use at night for dry eyes & it helps stop irritation throughout next day. If used in daytime it blurrs vision. I have it at all times to use.

I use this ointment at night before bed. I have dry eyes and this really helps. Application is easy, but be careful. The tip is metal and should not touch the eye. A steady hand is required.Only a small amount is needed.The down side is that it's a thick ointment. It clouds my vision, that's why I use it at bedtime. It also can be a bit messy.

We got this because two of our rescue cats only have one eye due to sever eye infections as small kittens. By the time we found them, it was bad enough both had lost an eye.Our Vet told us to use Terramycin, but now it is only available with a prescription, and they no longer need the antibiotics.So in looking for something that would work; we tried different things; I found this under prosthetic eyes. It has the same ingredients as Terramycin without the antibiotics. The cats like it, seems like it even makes their eyes feel better than the Terramycin did. They don't fight the application quite so bad.I now have this on Subscribe and Save

Similar to the other ointments like this, it can be tough to apply. You're supposed to draw a quarter inch line in your lower eyelid and move the eyelid to spread it around, however the ointment doesn't want to stick to your eyelid. Instead the little worm of slippery goo just keeps danging off the tube's tip so you have to knock it off and into your eye somehow.The ointment works fine, it's simply a hassle to apply.

This is my go to eye ointment and I highly recommend for anyone with dry eye disease. It's easy to use and directions are clearly marked on the product packaging. I've tried many eye ointments and this product is just as effective as higher priced competitors.
