This item worked for a Singer One sewing machine and arrived quickly!

I ordered this foot pedal to fit a singer sewing machine that was given to me, so I knew nothing about it except that I needed this pedal. Upon receiving it I plugged it in, my machine would run a few seconds and quit. No matter how many times I would plug and unplug it the same thing happened, it would run the bobbin winder no problem. So I ordered a replacement. It came within 2 days. I anxiously plugged it In and got the same results as the first pedal. Disappointed I was ready to send the second one back. Then I got to messing with the machine, putting fabric under the foot guide, nope still didn't work right. Then I ran a top thread, BINGO that was it. It operated like it was intended to do. I think me and this machine will get along well once I learn the ins and outs of it.

Works for the singer machine I have & the width is great. The cord is the longer length to fit anywhere as my machine will shut off if warm and using an extension cord.
