I have a 40" bust, 32" waist and purchased the large. Perfect, especially because I have a very short torso. 5'6", but regularly purchase petite tops and dresses. Since I am losing weight at the moment, I am going to purchase another in a smaller size. I had a similar Eileen Fisher vest with a hood that is now way too large, and this is similar in quality (aside from zipper), but much better priced.

I bought this vest to dress up for a safari themed Vacation Bible School. I wanted something that I could add to my wardrobe when I was done with the week. I searched many different vests looking at price and reviews, and settled on this one. It was exactly what I hoped for.The color was just like the picture showed. It’s comfortable (not too heavy). My only two criticisms which didn’t really effect my rating (but is still helpful to know since you can’t see the vest in person), is that while there are actual pockets on the vest, you cannot button them closed. The other thing I noticed is that the zipper can be a little temperamental (it does not glide smoothly back and forth). Overall though, I was pleased with the price and quality and would recommend this vest.Sizing details: I am 5’9 and 144 pounds. I wear medium-large in tops, but decided to stick with a size large for the vest. I think the fit was spot on for my body type.Washing details: The picture included is what the vest looks like after being washed. I washed it on delicate and hung it to dry. It seemed to wash up just fine.

Fit was weird, the waist cinch was so high it was below the breast. I’m usually a size 10, 5’6 and ordered XL knowing items made in China are made smaller. The fabric & color is nice but cut & craftsmanship was subpar, 2 buttons came loose before I even took it out of packaging. Had to return.

I wish I would’ve sized up for a looser fit, but it’s cute, it came in really nice packaging, it was like a fancy ziplock bag. Very nice material

This vest is great! I ordered according to the sizing chart and it's perfect. I was a little wary that it would be flimsy, but the weight of the garment is appropriate, and the zipper is heavy duty. Looking forward to wearing this for a long time!

First of all this came stiff as a board, literally! Its cloth but so stiff it was actually water repellent, but thought it would loosen up after a nice washing. WRONG! Still stiff as a board after washing it on cold with extra fabric softener ... So I decided to pop it in the dryer on low for a few minutes, took it out quite damp, but that was all it took to shrink it to a whole new smaller size. It was the perfect size prior to laundering it, and what's weird is it only shrunk in length! The jacket still fits, just to short now and I can't return it cause I've laundered it. Such a shame cause even though it was really stiff, I actually really did like it regardless. Very disappointed.So if you order and plan to put it in the dryer (even on low heat for a few minutes) order a size larger. BTW, it did not come with any 'specific' laundering instructions, it had no instructions sewn at all for that matter like most clothing does.

The one thing that is weird about this vest, that you can't see very well from most of the pictures, there is only one shoulder strap on the left side top - nothing on the right. If you like to be symmetrical this may be a deal breaker for you. Overall I like the style and fabric of this vest. I may have ordered a size too large but it's not sloppy enough for me to exchange.
