Book Description A new addition to the well-established At Home With workbook series from Oxford - Handwriting 2 is a curriculum-based workbook with step-by-step activities to improve letter formation and help form joined-up letters to write words. Synopsis At Home with Handwriting 2 contains handwriting practice for children to do at home. Each page contains carefully levelled writing exercises for the 6-7 year old to improve their letter formation and practice joined up letters to write words. The pages are clear, illustrated, and fun. Working through these exercises is an easy way to boost children's confidence at school - the step-by-step activities are simple enough to work on their own, or equally perfect to do together with an adult giving encouragement.

Just perfect for help with your child's handwriting
I bought this book to help my 6 year old further enhance her school work. I am very impressed with the book and would recommend it to other parents/carers of schoolchildren who just get "bored" with the amount of holidays they have in the school year!

a good buy
I got this for my daughter to help with her 1st year school work. As with all kids keep it fun and reward them and they will happily learn without knowing it!

Rely on Wodehouse
Wilhelmina `Bill' Shannon ex staff writer of Ikey Llewellyn's film company Superba-Llewellyn is ghost writing her sister Adela's memoirs. Adela Shannon was a star of the silver screen who is living in what was the Hollywood home of torrid film star Carmen Flore, who was known to have kept a diary. Smedley Cork, whom Bill is devoted to, and the ex safe cracker butler, Phipps, are both searching for this diary conscious of the money it could fetch from a gossip magazine. Also on the premises are Adela Shannon's niece Kay and her two suitors, Jack Davenport, whom Kay loves but Adela does not, and Lord Topham, whom Adela loves but Kay does not.I think we all know how it's going to end up but as ever with Wodehouse the chase is better than the kill. If only every thing in life was as reliable as a Wodehouse plot conclusion.

Very familiar themes
As I explained the plot of this book to my wife, I found I could explain everything that was going on by reference to the current Blandings TV series and our memories of Fry and Laurie in Jeeves and Worster.

Grandaughter ought to be writing this.............
Grand-daughter found this book useful, to a degree. I think at seven she found it "a bit too young!" Good book anyway.
