Brain Snacks: Good-for-Your-Soul Puzzles and Activities for Adults

I got this book in a bunch of adult activity books to keep me busy after my surgery. The description sounded great. But I found it to be very frustrating. Most problems derive from her use of abstract or stylized drawings.The "find the differences" puzzles had differences of a single dot, etc. Not a missing fire hydrant, a single dot. For someone with nystagmus, this is impossible and frustrating.Anything to be colored involved very fine details and abstract patterns. I tried a few. But to get the nuances, I had to resort to a magnifiying glass. I quickly gave that up as too frustrating.The Find The Word puzzles were simplistic. Only a few words were on the diagonal. Here, the nystagmus helped as the words written backwards were easy to find.The one giant Suduku variant didn't make sense. It started with two 7's in the same row.The mazes were okay.Overall, I was unhappy with the purchase. I threw away the book with over half of it unused because I hated those parts. Not what I would call relaxing. If your eyesight is better, you may enjoy it. For people like me, no.

Super cute cover to book but I was disappointed when I opened it and it was like a child’s coloring book-like pages. Also it’s about the size of a coloring book. I got no use out of it.

Not fun or original nor particularly targeted towards grownups. Just boring stuff and empty paper.

This is a very cute book, But the directions were not very clear for the puzzles.

Misleading in the contents. A religious bible based junk book. Do not waste your money. The puzzles are geared toward children. The illustrations are mediocre at best. Be honest if you are pitching false prophets at people.
