JERDON Wall-Mounted Makeup Mirror with Lights - Chrome Lighted Makeup Mirror with 8X Magnification - Model HL88CL

On Amazon.ca I ordered a mirror with a cord and got the wall mounted model. I sent it back and ordered the one with the cord again and got the wall mounted model. I eventually had to order the one with the cord from Amazon.com and it arrived correctly to a US mailbox.It is very well made and my wife loves it. I find the light a bit too blue but the user loves it.

This product has a nice look, and it moves well, if a bit stiffly. This led version stays cool to the touch. I dont have the regular version on-hand so I can't compare the color of the light, but its not as warm (ie yellow) as incandescent bulbs. Regular bulbs are 2700K, 'daylight' bulbs are 5000K (ie more blue), I estimate the color of these leds are between the two. Might be a good match for a typical office lighting. My wife likes it, though she asks why I never told her about all the pores on her face.. I guess I could never look past her beauty.

Pros: Got it quick, hung it easily, looks great (we like the slimmer profile LED lights make possible), works fine.Cons: Didn't come with coiled electric cord so cord hangs low, in the way. Lights are adequate but we wish brighter. We imagined LED lights would be really bright, needed for 60ish eyes, but they're 'bout the same as old incandescent mirror.The two most important considerations when choosing a magnifying mirror are, 1) the right magnification (8x was right for us) and, 2) the brightness of the light (doesn't matter how big your reflection is if you can't see it). Light on this mirror is okay but should be stronger -- it's hard to get too much light.Why can't Jerdon mirrors have two light levels? low for normal use and high when you need powerful flood light? Unless you can find that somewhere, this mirror will do the job.

I used one of these at a hotel and loved the ease of how it worked. The light benefits these aging eyes, and the magnification makes it easy to see what you are working on.

For something mounted to the wall, the cord is very long and a pretty big eye sore. Overall the mirror is fine the light is good and the mirror is clear, but we returned it as the cord hanging there all the time would have been annoying. I will have to opt for a hard wired option or a mirror with a coiled plug

Not a cheaper version that you see in the store. There were some problems getting it installed to be flush on the wall, but works well when installed. High quality.

The product did last even three years in a residential environment with daily use. Within two years it developed a loose connection in the pivot point where the mirror and arm connect resulting in having to place the mirror in specific positions for the light to work. Just recently the on off switch plastic tube broke rendering it inoperable.

I bought and returned several Lighted Wall Mount mirror both online and in retail stores. The magnifications either was not right for me or mostly the light was not bright enough for me. I the light is not any bright the what is already in my bathroom it is not doing me any good. My husband talked me into trying this one as one last try. I absolutely love it. The light is nice and bright and the magnification is perfect. I am so glad I took one more chance. Both my husband and I use this light daily and nightly. Trust me I tried MANY before I found this one. Don't waste your time on the others. This is the one.

Lo coloqué en el baño,obviamente, no ocupa mucho espacio pues es retráctil, bien material y excelente imagen reflejada,no se distorsiona

Great mirror, great quality, lighting is nice and bright. It is a hotel quality mirror in my opinion. I would buy one again for sure.
